8/3 Sox vs Brewers GT
There's mounting evidence that guys coming off Tommy John are dropping like flies. Kopech looks like a genius.

Rodon is the White Sox version of Mark Prior. It is what it is. Oh, what could have been if he stayed healthy. He's toast.

I'm shutting down Rodon and Dunning at this point.

Buuuuurn.

Lambert. Ohtani is done for the Angels and he was throwing 92.

I fear for his arm based on Lambert/Rodon.

He threw one at 85.6. They pulled him after that inning.

Is Foster a real relief prospect or is he some 29 year old minor league retread?

I'd take a flyer on Cashner. Keep Dunning in Schaumburg.

How can you explain the rash of guys coming off TJS getting reinjured then? It's been happening all over baseball not just Rodon and Lambert. Ohtani is also hurt, and there are others I'm not thinking of.

Both Ray Ray and I agree with you.

I thought it was stupid but I'm still here watching. What's happened to Eduardo Rodriguez with Covid and all of the pitchers who had their arms trashed is horrible.

It's been a theme all across the Majors especially for guys coming off Tommy John.

No to Dunning. Last two pitchers coming of TJS have severely injured themselves. I have no idea who is going to fill Rodon's slot.

The shoulder surgery was 3 years ago.

All I can think of is that his arm isn't bouncing back after a few starts, or it's dead arm. I know he was throwing 95-96 in his last two starts. It's weird.

8/3 Sox vs Brewers GT
No. He had severe shoulder bursitis and TJS. He was throwing 96 two weeks ago. They actually didn't need to go into his shoulder as bursitis can be treated with medicine, however they didn't know what it was until they went in there.

That was a fastball. His velo on everything is down today. He's not ready.

87!?!?!? He's not ready for MLB hitting.

They got Engel at 2nd.

He was sitting 93-94 and topping at 96 2 weeks ago. Where'd it go? Did anyone else watch the exhibition vs the Brewers?
