  1. He's really intriguing. He caught my eye the 1st time I read his scouting report. I can't believe how much we're in agreement on both baseball and hockey scouting.
  2. Anything over either 100 or 150K after round 10 counts toward your bonus pool. That is all.
  3. Bet the Cubs grab him.
  4. There's a RHP named Nick Paciorek from Northwestern in the top 200. Given that the guy is probably related to Wimpy, he screams Sox nepotism.
  5. Yeah, you're right. 11-15 are guys you actually have a chance to sign.
  6. They're probably going college until round 11
  7. If they're going to take a tough prep sign in the 11th-15th, I'd gamble on Spencer Jones. He's a two way player out of Cali.
  8. Those guys will get drafted in rounds 11-15, and won't sign.
  9. He has secondary pitches, that isn't the problem. Both his change and slider are good pitches. The issue is that he has zero consistency with any of his pitches. He struggles with fastball command and hangs his changeup and slider a lot. I think if he moved to closer he could focus on just one of them, and probably get it down.
  10. If a few guys didn't get injured, the Sox could have won more than one WS in the 2000s. That being said, I'll take the one we got.
  11. Maybe he's going for straight slot and that is what is needed to get him to sign.
  12. I'm willing to guess that these guys take the money, go play rookie ball for a half season, and if they can't cut it go do non-athlete adulting stuff.
  13. Dan Metzdorf, a Sr. from Boston College. Obviously a money saving pick. Can't complain. 1st 4 rounds were great.
  14. Typical New Yawker, lol.
  15. I ask them to go get somebody left handed this time around.
  16. Sox up in 6 picks The only guys I absolutely wanted were Miller and Stinson, so I'm with bmags that I'm just here to watch at this point. Keep taking upside, whether college or prep.
  17. Dalton Fowler is intriguing to me.
  18. I was fine with both him and Madrigal. I just really hated Singer. My 1a and 1b were those guys. Glad they got one of them.
  19. Haha, no.. It's just that they know what they're doing and I feel confident about my eye for talent based based on agreement with their scouts more often than not.
  20. Dammit. The Rays always pick my guys, which should tell you something. They picked Liberatore and McClanahan last year, soo....
  21. Now I guess Stinson is the hope.
  22. Either him or Erik Miller.
  23. I doubt he's going to make it to the 5th round, but I really like Erik Miller.
  24. Just OK? I'm really pleased with what they're doing.
