Relationship Advice Thread
Idk if this is appropriate, but this is probably the best scenario for all involved, even though this chick will probably be scarred for life emotionally from the ordeal. On a bit of personal advice, if you're not planning on having kids or being in a long-term relationship, I'd consider a vasectomy. No reason to continue shooting a loaded gun. If I ever get to that point with a SO, I'm going to do it.

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
Ray Ray, I appreciate you doing the jaja thing, as it has motivated me to get back in touch with my college friends.

We lost touch when he went back home. I get bummed thinking about it, because my 3 closest friends from college were all foreigners and I'll probably never see them again.

There's only one way that happens, and that is if the 1st wave (Moncada, Lopez, Giolito) start performing. Otherwise all bets are off. It could get really bad.

I think there will be games, especially on cold days, that they draw less than 10k, and possibly even less than 5K. Wouldn't surprise me if the only people in the stands are STH for more than one game. This will be a national embarrassment, mark my words.

I wouldn't be surprised if they draw less that a million either this year or next. Reinsdorf has nobody to blame but himself for that. The Cubs put on an aggressive marketing campaign in the 80s and 90s and Uncle Jerry refused to fight back. They have lost at least 2 generations of fans due to that. When JR acquired the team in 1981 the city was 50-50, they've lost at leat 15% of their fanbase since then.

Immediately after hearing what happened with Machado deep down I knew that there was a zero percent chance they got Harper. KW said as much.

Yup. If a player signs or is traded here they become worse just by putting on the Sox uniform. There is no guarantee that Tatis would've ever ascended to this level had he not been traded for Shields. Similarly,a player becomes instantly better upon leaving the organization.

What? I'm getting the Reds guys on my feed. These guys are talking about the Reds players and nothing about the Sox guys, so I'd assume they're the Reds ST guys

Wasn't there a tweet somewhere in this thread that every team talking to Boras has offered 10 years?

If he has to have a "development year" like Moncada did fans are going to be on suicide watch.

Agree with this except for the order of Giants and Dodgers. I can't believe that the Dodgers would let him go to the Giants. There is a lot of bad blood there.

Yeah, he's going to either LA or SF, and my money is on LA.

This changes everything. Harper will be a Dodger. If they let him go to SF the fanbase will crucify their FO

If that happens, you can say bye-bye to Harper. If neither do, then there is a nonzero chance. ( nonzero means less than .001 percent but greater than zero. )
