  1. out of all days Yahoo.... my fantasy team cant score a TD to save its life. Hopefully Romo gets atleast 20 points since Flacco has 30 on my bench.
  2. Kansas St-Oregon is looking like it will happen but I wont be shocked to see ND lose to USC and one of the other 2 lose also which will open the door for the winner of Georgia/Alabama. We all know the SEC is the best conference but it will be nice not to hear SEC fans chanting "__ titles in a row"
  3. QUOTE (SexiAlexei @ Nov 10, 2012 -> 04:37 PM) Texas A&M up 20 in the 1st? Where's that Bama defense today? I guess they thought the game started at 4:30. The defense has been lights out since the first quarter.
  4. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Nov 9, 2012 -> 10:56 PM) Lame, Florida/Georgetown gets called at the half too. Make sure you can actually manage these games on the carriers before you schedule them! keep it out west or just scrap the idea of ship basketball.
  5. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 9, 2012 -> 01:35 PM) Timmy Chandler will be back with the USMNT in Russia next week. Obviously not cap-tying but good news nonetheless Good test against a upper level international team. Last gasp effort to get noticed by Germany before having to settle on the US.
  6. I guess thats a big upset in name but Purdue isnt ranked and was only favored by 5. FSU was favored by 13 and ranked.
  7. I guess the first "big" upset of the season is South Alabama going into Florida State and winning by 6. Hamilton must only feel comfortable coaching when fans are breathing down his neck.
  8. Sucks that trades like that can go down. There was a major one sided trade between the guy in first place and guy in last place in my yahoo league. But Yahoo says you can only veto if you think there is cheating going on.
  9. If we can get a draw at Honduras then we'll be off and running. Everyone in CONCACAF is good at home but us and Mexico are the only teams that usually can take a game or two on the road. I think for the 2010 Hex, 4 road teams won(US 2, Mexico, Costa Rica). As much as it will pain me, I'll be rooting for Mexico for 8 of their 10 matches. Honduras may be able to get off to a fast start with their first two matches being at home against the US and Mexico. Also could set up for a horrible Hex for them if they come out of it with just a point. Costa Rica also starts out at Panama and at the US. Even though that means they'll get them on the backside of the schedule at home, no one wants to start out like that. Next February will be a fun month for sure. The Super Bowl, NCAA basketball gearing up for conference tournament play, WCQ'ing.
  10. QUOTE (Reddy @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 05:26 PM) absolutely - all good advice - save the fat bird part... my ex is small skinny and hot. not sure i'd feel a whole lot better doing a fat chick. I was listening to an interview with a musician on the radio months back and he was talking about Gene Simmons. He was on tour with him years ago and I guess the night before Gene got with some girl who was Miss America at one point. The next night the musician saw Gene getting into an elevator with some pig. Next morning the guy asked Gene what that was all about and Gene's reply was, "You cant have filet mignon every night, sometimes you want McDonalds." and the point of doing a fat chick isnt to make yourself feel better. while doing the fat girl, you should be thinking how repulsed you are of yourself for doing such a girl. Emo's cut themselves, real men drill fatties.
  11. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Nov 1, 2012 -> 09:10 PM) S*it girls say to me .."I need some time before I date anyone. After being with someone for 6 and a half years it takes some time to get back into the dating thing. I won't even know what to do when it comes to dating, lol" ...3 days later...new boyfriend...haha my lifes a joke translation: "I'm ready for new dick but not from you" girls who jump from a relationship to a new boyfriend that quick are nothing but trouble. Usually turn out to be the needy, crazy stalker types.
  12. Jim Durham of ESPN Radio who called NBA games with Jack Ramsay died yesterday at 65. Guess he called the Bulls and White Sox too years back. You couldnt pay me to watch a regular season NBA game for more than 5 minutes if I didnt have money on it but I did like hearing him call games while in my car. Had a really smooth voice.
  13. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Nov 5, 2012 -> 02:47 PM) I play in a 14 team league and it just depends on a lot of factors. Martin was drafted end of 3rd round in my league. Grr (this is about yahoo draft client screwing me out of martin) Martin went in the 4th in my league. I figured I could wait until the 5th round to snatch him up but someone a handful of spots ahead of me grabbed him. Last Monday I sent the guy who owns Martin in my league a really good trade that actually favored him according to Yahoo. Of course the owner didnt check it til last weekend after Martin ran all over Minnesota. Then I turn around and face him yesterday. I didnt think I would lose the RB battle after Leshoure got me 25 points yesterday.
  14. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 4, 2012 -> 08:20 PM) Seconded. third hoping Moore and Celek can go off for about 35 points. haha, no chance. actually I'm happy he did that to me. The Bucs needed him to win today so I'll trade that everyday of the week.
  15. NFL teams need to work on punt protection. 14 punt blocks in 2012 so far, 9 for all of 2011.
  16. and there were two number 2's out there. One guy on the edge and the other guy standing behind the line of scrimmage who was jumping. I could almost the refs slide if it was a playing in a 3pt stance but cant let it slide since both players were standing straight up and down.
  17. huh? so why even have refs call penalties then. Each team should hire a set of coaches to just look for illegal formations and too many players. If they see it then those coaches should petition the refs and have them review the fouls. If the refs deem the coach correct, then throw the flag. You have refs counting players, counting players on the line of scrimmage, making sure that numbered players are playing in the correct position and I'm sure a lot more things before each ball is snapped. It shouldnt be hard to ask that the refs also make sure two players arent wearing the same number on the field.
  18. Because style also counts. It always has and always will in college football. ND may end up with the best victory (Oklahoma) but going to OT against a s***ty Pittsburgh and slipping past an even worse Purdue team needs to be weighed too. They also only beat another crap team in BYU by just 3. In college football, struggling to beat sub par teams is worse than rolling through the Arkansas State's of the world. Plus pollsters will try to compare the schedules of common opponents. They will see that Oregon beat Arizona 49-0 and that Arizona lost by 6 to Stanford who lost in OT to ND. Also that Oregon beat Washington by 31 and Washington beat Stanford.
  19. Alabama! 1.Alabama 2.Oregon 3.K-State 4.Notre Dame that would be my ranking but I wouldnt argue flipping Oregon and Kansas St.
  20. Its not being a Hater when he's 100% correct on what he's saying.
  21. ND losing would be ideal but them going 12-0 and not playing for a title would be pretty fun too.
  22. NBC cant find anyone better than Mayock? He is horrible at commentary for both ND and NFL Network.
  23. Pretty bad that Pitt has had this stiff as their starting QB for 3 seasons now.
  24. good thing Pitt ran it into the middle of the field. Horrible gameday coach.
  25. QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 3, 2012 -> 07:32 PM) He was easily in the end zone, this will be a TD Ruling on the field is that the ND player was going to score easily if he hadnt dropped the ball by accident thus making it a ND TD!
