If I was manager I never would have played Bobby because of that hip problem. I would have gone with Thornton or Hermanson. I would have Hermanson or MacDougal as the closer until Bobby's hip feels better. I realize these guys are competitors and will say they are fine to get in the game, but the manager has to use his own judgement in those situations also.

I think we could go a few games with out Bobby but for an extended period then we'd be in real trouble.

I am breathing a big sigh of relief right now! WTG A.J.!!! It is obivous that Bobby Jenks isn't near 100% These guys are just competitors they will always say that can play even when they are hurt. Ozzie I think is going to have to put Mac Dougal as the closer for a few games to give Bobby a chance to get rested since he hurting. Jose isn't himself either.

Freddy has pitched a good game so far. Let's hang to this now.

We're not the only team to have players with sore backs after 140 some game. Even if we don't win the division we can still repeat as champions all we have to do is get the wild card. Then play like we're capable of playing. Don't throw in the towel on the season still 20 some games to play yet.

The pitcher I would get rid of would be Vazquez, although it will probably be Buehrle. Put Bmac in the starting rotation. Pods is probably as good as gone.

Losing again to the teams we should be beating. Ozzie has been having a different lineup all year. I can see resting players but the extent he goes to is crazy.

Maybe last nights lineup is the one we need on a regular basis. Let hope we can start a good winning streak.

Jose pitched a terrific game. Sure was good to see Dustin Hermanson again.

It is indeed a very critical game. It would give Sweeney some good major league experience.

This was a bad loss, but we're still in the playoff hunt and still the champs till some one beats us. Never say die.

Losing 2 out of 3 to Kansas City is sickening. When in the world is Ozzie going to learn to put Bmac in the starting rotation?
