  1. I have no doubt that it will be Scott Schoenweiss. He's gonna make big strides and turn into a pretty good starter, imo. Something like a 4.59 ERA and innings which would be excellent in the 5 hole. Problem is that's what we get from Garland in the 4 hole
  2. You know how much that team would cost? And Robbie Alomar would never come off the bench
  3. Well Rauch is out of Options. If they send him down he'd have to clear Waivers as does Ginter
  4. Agents.. That's the problem. Get more Money... So i get more in my share So let's say Bart's Agent get's 10% and he signs for 15 Million how much does he get? 1.5 Mil. Or even if he gets 5% it's still 750,000 The problem may not br Colon but his Agent who wants more for himself. Of course if Bart loves it so much He'll sign anyways. We offered he doesn't well Good-Bye
  5. When Esteban Loaiza was signed.

I brought up Jose Cruz Jr when someone started a thread about our fantasy lineup. You could do more than just Jose Cruz for Magglio. You could add Konerko, JT Snow couldn't hit a beachball anymore. That would give them two bats to get Barry some more pitches. One of their young pitchers would be nice, but they gave up a bit for Ponson, so I don't think they would give us any young pitchers. I think we would get some junk payroll back from the Giants though, but I could live. The Problem is that he's not saying we would get Cruz, He's sayin the Giants could put Cruz in center
  8. If that's true and JR is gonna cut payroll than I'm gonna consider real profiundly not to go overboard rooting for this team until EL CHEAPO sells it. Reinsdork isn't serious about winning a Ring.. Or maybe he is and thinks that with scrubs and a 40 Million dollar pay roll it can get done.. REINSDORK :fyou
  9. I kinda feel he's gone, but let's see
  10. I get a Warm Fuzzy Feeling inside when I see that Hot Britney Pic...
  11. Remember Scott Sullivan has an Option too
  12. Hargrove is a good Manager IMO. But it's not what this team needs, He's laid back like Manuel was.. Welcome Kid Gleason

I would like to get Peavy, and Greene from the Pads
  14. For those in Doubt... I read this on another board Bruce Levine reported it Some clarification on the coaches, courtesy of Bruce Levine: A new manager will be able to name his own coaches. If that happens, the current guy will get another job within the organization. The new manager will surely be encouraged to retain as many of the guys as possible. Bruce Kimm was canned, the other guys have a job somewhere in the organization at the very least. That answer any questions, See the same thing i said. Kimm was Canned cause he was hired by Manuel

Frankly speaking (No pun intended) I's rather have Grinders who play hard than Rich Slugs
  16. Walker and Coop did good. If another Manager wants to brings his coaches I bet those guys gets re-assigned to another place in the ORG
  17. Good Post, And I agree If Colon really wants to stay here and the deal is Right then take it if not F him we did all we could

I don't think you understood kenny.... here, Williams repeated that his main priority after naming a new manager will be the pitching staff, principally re-signing Bartolo Colon, whose salary was $8.25 million in this final year of his four-year deal. "I reiterated that to him today. He tells me, 'Don't worry about it.' But I'll worry about it until I don't have to worry about it. I want to keep the pitching together, and he's the No. 1 priority.'' "The payroll may go up marginally,'' Williams said, compared to this season's estimated $52 million. "We'll have to do some juggling because we still do not have the resources to add significantly to the payroll. But so be it. We'll make it work.'' http://www.suntimes.com/output/sox/cst-spt-sox292.html Grinders as in players how play hard and with a lot of heart
  19. The last Pitcher we gave money too was Laime Navarro Take it from there. The other was Floyd Bannister in 1982
  20. If they give the house to Colon It means Maggs could be a goner
