  1. I was playing my guitar and getting paid for it
  2. or I'll just go by what he said last night on TV.... thanks tho... rolleyeyes.gif
  3. btw the way you're wrong. Koch said the ONLY reason he supports Bush is because of the way he handled 9/11, and in this time of war we need a president who will stand up and fight and be firm in his convictions.
  4. btw, Al Franken was their last night too... did anyone else catch Don King (who was awesome) or Ed Koch, both democrats, on Fox News yesterday? They both support Bush in a major way. cool stuff.
  5. this thread is brought to you by the "see, PA can take a joke" foundation. y'all are a bunch of bastards.
  6. a couple things... as a family member of a cast member of this TV Show, I'll tell you that we're better off watching shows like that than crap like howard stern. How does "freedom of speech" benefit our nation? Certainly our diversity and freedoms are maintained, but at what cost? ours and future generations are a bunch of friggin' morally devoid, ADD, irresponsible crackheads. Thanks mom and dad!!! probably one of the more ridiculous ideas I've heard in a while.... So the fact that there are a few factions of iraqis not so keen on the idea of US troops in iraq, makes the whole process and mission of removing Saddam a bad thing? Apparently this war was supposed to take a few days and everyone would be eating apple pies and diet cokes because it was such a popular idea. Well there are millions of iraqis benefitting from freedoms right now. If saddam were still in power he'd being cutting off limbs of innoccent people as we speak....so you could check off the list that you still have your feet. Man, feet are good. So that's a plus. If the insurgents ever learned the old addage..."the pen is mightier than the sword" or in this case an AK-47... good lord, imagine the effectiveness of their words. They have a free country in which they can practice their religion (which they couldn't do under Hussein) and vote on their leaders... Cos, even a John Edwards could pick the winners in previous election years in iraq... firstly, George Bush has turned around a failing economy, to much difficulty considering the problems that 9/11 caused our already trouble markets. The tax cut I got was pretty damn sweet if you ask me. I really needed the money and ever since, it's been great. I imagine it was nicer for those who pay more taxes, so hopefully they got more money back than I did...cos that's kinda how it works. Um, lets see. John Kerry voted against Gulf War 1, voted to cut inteligence budgets AFTER the bombings at the world trade center, and overall doesn't care too much for defense spending...arguably the SINGLE most important task of the Federal government. So the fact that there hasn't been a domestic terrorist attack since 9/11 seems pretty great to me. Kerry is soft on defense and terrorism...I don't feel safe under that man, and none of us should... at this point in time. see you in four years when Rudy gets elected next please...
  7. actually, I can thank my voluntary quitting my job and touring as a professional musician for the past 5 months... but, I'd also like to thank Bush for the tax credits I've received
  8. precisely my point. and Cheney was a member of the house of reps for 5 terms...hardly the comparative status of Sen. Kerry. and Cheney didn't Vote against Gulf war 1....give me a break... next... EDIT: I'm pretty sure is was Muqtada Al-Sadr who announced today that his followers should put down their weapons and stop fighting the US and iraqi forces... another one bites the dust.
  9. I think the point of it was that George Bush had and continues to have the right response to what our nation faces. John Kerry clearly has no vision for the defense of America, as seen in 20 years of anti-inteligence and anti-defense voting. If there weren't people out there right now thinking up ways to destroy our way of life, I'd think about Kerry, because our health care system does need to be addressed, as well as our tax system, education system, environmental policies, etc. The reality is that we are in the middle of a conflict that needs to be paramount in our minds. Our economy is slowly growing healthier and Democrats must do their part to challenge President Bush to face domestic issues, However, we cannot deviate from the current course, which is to show our strength and resolve to world terrorists that we will not back down and will not give into their attempts to steal our freedoms. John Kerry just isn't the man for our nation right now. GWB for 4 more years

  15. replace 8 years in which you say he "lost" because he thought he was going to die??? WTF? no offense guy, but if I thought I were going to die because of some terminal disease, I'd try to live every day like it were my last. Each new day I woke up, I would thank God for giving me and I'd try to make the people around me happier. I would initially be angry at my doctor because you're right, he didn't do his job. and then I'd be like... WAIT?!?!?, so I'm not f***ING DYING??? AWESOME... and yeah...I don't know, maybe after the 3 or 4th year when I was still running marathons and having abundant gay sex, I'd wonder about that diagnosis...how about a second opinion dude?? I think the doctor should find a middle ground on any Fees related to this misdiagnosis. That's it. but hell no to any "my feelings are hurt" payouts.
  16. are you sure there wasn't overlapping boos from someone else's appearence? I mean, Carson Daly is SO 2001 rolleyeyes.gif
  17. john edwards wants to eliminate the poverty line.................. uh, do I need to even explain why that's "un-possible"???
  18. Hey Tex.... If you were a hot dog and you were starving to death, would you eat yourself? I know I would. I'd smother myself in brown mustard and relish... I'd be delicious...
  19. personal medical savings accounts that are required for every working person in the US, would cover costs for typical hospital/doctor visits. All we have to do is look at Singapore, England, etc to figure out how to effectively provide ACCESS to basic health care... The role of the the US gov't is NOT to PROVIDE basic health care. People are ignorant and foolish with their money. Gov't handouts have to stop (unless you're too old, too young, or medically unable to work). Require people to put away $$ for health care (matched by their employer) and you'll find a solution to the problem. by the way, I love how Rob Reiner is sitting in the luxury boxes at the DNC (Sans smile), while John Edwards says " and how will we pay for these things? roll back the tax cuts for the 2% wealthiest americans" How does anyone making more than a million a year support anyone on the left?
