Wasn't TD Ameritrade a family owned business that was just sold to Charles Schwab in a $26 billion all stock deal. Is it legal or not to use some of the profits for the baseball team?
Time for a break and maybe some TV watching, but I'll keep on the page. IF a trade gets reported, PLEASE USE ALL CAPS WHEN STARTING THE NEW TOPIC, to alert me.
Question about Madrigal? I saw last years production with the 3 levels that he had close to 40 SB's. IF and when on the Sox roster for 2020 do we expect the team to use his speed? Also wondering where you guys think he would fit in the lineup? Don't mean to jump topics but Madrigal's name came up here.
Well, now would be a good time to stop acting petty and childish and be the professional organization that White Sox fans want. Just do it and tell us!
For our sake, if he signs today and they have medical clearance, I hope it gets announced today. I just think it would be foolish to try to hide or mask it for a few days. Just do it already!!
Why would the Sox want to wait until Wednesday to announce the deal? If there are other players looking to sign and possibly with the Sox I would think this would show them the Sox are serious and are getting better.
I just read an article from NBC Sports saying that Dickerson might be looking for a two year deal for $15 mil. Turns 31 in May and bats lefty. In the article reported to be a good clubhouse fit and IF he's healed from the foot surgery wondering what the thoughts are on him? Maybe an under the radar guy to watch?
Yep.
We keep waiting for the big class of FA players and then the FO fails. I like the Grandal signing, but we need more. I'll be patient and give them more time, but like the players on the field the FO also needs to produce!
Yea great point. My bad. Build a bullpen with depth. IF the 2018 Treinen were to show up he'd be a nice add. Anyone think Herrera will be of use this year?
