  1. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 04:32 PM) The difference between my hatred of Bonds and my "hatred" of this team is that my hatred of Bonds is 24/7 and my hatred of this team is only when they disappoint me and don't even look like they are trying to improve. And when Ozzie Guillen exiles Brian "the Once and Future King" eh? -- f*** the sanctimony. I wish we'd signed Bonds in the offseason. QUOTE(fathom @ May 5, 2007 -> 04:33 PM) Yes they've been bad, but I still don't miss a game. I don't miss them either...but sometimes...I wish I had.
  2. QUOTE(fathom @ May 5, 2007 -> 04:31 PM) That's funny, because my two favorite things to watch in baseball are the Sox and Bonds batting. Well, you and Tito both make your allegiances clear. BTW, how can you count the Sox as one of your favorite things to watch? They've been as bad as can be all year. I can't quite say I've enjoyed this season at all.
  3. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 04:28 PM) Have I ever expressed my hatred for Barry Steroids Bonds? Wow. This is just sick. Do you hate him as much as you hate this team?
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ May 5, 2007 -> 04:26 PM) Now this I'll support! Oh, pssh.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ May 5, 2007 -> 04:16 PM) Stop....learn how to pick your battles. To be fair, Dye is very very very slow.
  6. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 5, 2007 -> 03:56 PM) Why would I break anything today? This is probably the best game we've played in a week. I guess I just see "Oh God...here we go again" from you and think, "Something's going to die." Really I'm just teasing you.
  7. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 5, 2007 -> 03:54 PM) Oh God...here we go. Breaking anything yet?
  8. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ May 5, 2007 -> 03:05 PM) Whats that 1 next to CHW on the scoreboard?
  9. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 5, 2007 -> 12:22 PM) Not a good Omen right there. Can't even spell our SP name right. Worked pretty well the last time someone mispelled his name here/
  10. QUOTE(whitesoxin @ May 5, 2007 -> 12:37 PM) I ran into Ron Kittle yesterday and I asked him about Barry Bonds. He got pissed and started cussing him out, it was awesome. Are you kidding? Where'd you run into him?
  11. I almost made a major fantasy trade that someone was trying to sell me on asking for Carpenter instead of Papelbon but I said No! I want Pap!
  12. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 4, 2007 -> 11:03 PM) Just be glad you don't have a dislocated knee cap. He's referencing himself, folks. /Farmer
  13. QUOTE(SoxAce @ May 4, 2007 -> 11:01 PM) Sisco in, this could get interesting, btw I'm a complete idiot for staying home on a Friday night. You can still go out. It isn't that late.
  14. QUOTE(max power @ May 4, 2007 -> 10:44 PM) How? Anyway, doesn't he have a no trade clause? I think it only lasted one year, last. Same with Garland, unless I'm wrong.
  15. All we have to talk about is the future rebuilding.
  16. QUOTE(Capn12 @ May 4, 2007 -> 10:14 PM) BA had to go down, but Cintron...hes a keeper!! (I know BA was sucking, but tell me how Cintron isn't a waste of a roster space?) BA Besides that obvious (and sad) truth, Cintron = the only thing resembling backup MI we have.
  17. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 4, 2007 -> 09:57 PM) I'd rather trade Jenks. As much as MacDougal is injury-prone, I think Jenks is a ticking time bomb. Plus he is a closer and has a bunch of saves and World Series experience. Other teams tend to overvalue relievers and the Sox have people coming up who can replace him. Right on.
  18. QUOTE(fathom @ May 4, 2007 -> 09:56 PM) Actually a good AB by Sweeney. And don't kid yourself about Anderson....he won't come up unless Erstad is injured. Nor should he until he can swing a bat with something resembling manliness.
  19. QUOTE(soxfansince04 @ May 4, 2007 -> 09:55 PM) I can't get excited about bringing up Anderson unless he's been looking good in AAA these past few days. With his play in April, I don't see how he's any better than the junk we've been seeing lately. He isn't. -- Way to go, Sweeney.
  20. QUOTE(fathom @ May 4, 2007 -> 09:54 PM) He's not a good CF. He's average, it's just anything after Mackowiak seems good. His arm is atrocious, and he's made too many mental mistakes for a veteran. He gets excellent jumps and reads.
  21. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 4, 2007 -> 09:51 PM) What is so impressive about him in CF at this point? It's nice of you to ask right after a horrible play but if I have to explain to you that Erstad's a very good defensive CFer -- well, I don't want to. BRING UP ANDERSON
  22. QUOTE(zenryan @ May 4, 2007 -> 09:49 PM) f*** this. I'm about to turn on seinfeld. http://youtube.com/watch?v=EIc_avnWsBY much better
