  1. Is it just me, or does Jenks look better when he's in Chicago? (I trust him here, don't get me wrong, and this observation is autonomous from this game. It's just something that's been on my mind of late.)
  2. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 28, 2006 -> 02:20 PM) He walks too many batters. Well, in the past. He has been very good about the strike zone this year. His walks have, mainly, been of the intentional sort.
  3. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 28, 2006 -> 02:13 PM) GMAB. The guy almost pissed away a 5 run lead. Again.
  4. Oh, now it's time to remove Jon, not at the start of the inning.
  5. I hate that "Vintage 05 Garland" bulls***. He had eight good starts and the rest of the season was Garland As Usual. He's worse this year than his average, but there is no "Vintage 05" Garland. There's a brief variation.
  6. No lead is safe with Jon Garland on the mound.
  7. Uribe should've got that. Lynch the f***er!
  8. If anyone's replacing Uribe in Chicago this year, it's going to be Cintron.
  9. Come on Thome, blast one. You haven't since Tuesday!
  10. QUOTE(aboz56 @ May 28, 2006 -> 01:12 PM) 5-0 Cleveland. Excellent!
  11. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 28, 2006 -> 01:11 PM) Holy s***. That can't be true. It isn't. Yes. Second basemen's.
  12. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 28, 2006 -> 12:31 PM) Please, Garland has never been this bad. Surely that's true, but he's never been that far off this, either. Besides, his ERA would be much lower if not for that game in KC where he fell apart.
  13. Garland out of it. AJ's been looking good with runners.
  14. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 28, 2006 -> 12:28 PM) Jeez, how did Garland turn back into Judy after last season? Oh come on. He had eight excellent starts to start the season and then reverted to form. This isn't a 2006 thing -- it's been this way since before April and May of last year and then from June on up.
  15. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 28, 2006 -> 10:45 AM) Maybe in the second half. Garland was the stopper last year, preventing several bad stretches, not Contreras. --------------------- Pods, LF Cintron, 2B Thome, DH PK, 1B Dye, RF AJ, C Crede, 3B Mack, CF Uribe, SS Garland, SP --------------------- Contreras was absolutely the stopper in the second half. Garland was the stopper in May and April. He didn't have a very good second half.
  16. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ May 28, 2006 -> 11:41 AM) 0-6 will lead to a lot of profanity 0-6 FTW!
  17. I'd say safe because I like the effort. I don't care enough to watch it over and over, though.
  18. I wholeheartedly concur with Flanders. AND I THINK WE SHOULD BAN WHOEVER IT WAS THAT SCREAMED "f***!" DURING THOME'S AT BAT YESTERDAY. ESPECIALLY IF IT WAS THAT THOME f***ER!
  19. I don't think it's worth giving up a pitcher unless it were Garland or Garcia. But I can't see the Orioles giving up Tejada for either and, besides, Garland has his No-Trade Clause.
