QUOTE (Y2HH @ Apr 4, 2011 -> 03:15 PM) He's the left handed LineSTINK. And they should change your title on here from MVP to Ohman Lover. I actually haven't seen him pitch yet. But I'm all for giving a guy more than 3 games to get comfortable. First time pitching with this team for real, cold.. give him at least 2 weeks. But if I were to have my title changed, it would have to be to "B. Anderson Lover," as he was my first-s***ty-Sox-player mancrush.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Apr 4, 2011 -> 02:25 PM) Whenever Oz calls Will Ohman out of the pen...everyone looking at the television in disbelief says one thing...and only one thing. Oh...man!#$! WTF! It's been, what, 3 games? Let's not turn him into Linebrink already.

Sox (2-0) at Cleveland (0-2) 4/3 @ 12:05 CSN

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 3, 2011 -> 03:33 PM) One day our manager will realize that this is the AL and bunts before the 7th inning are something that should be avoided. And that the use of bad loogy's just because they favor their left paw is going involve runs scoring in bunches. A stubborn man whom hopefully is going to be someone else's problem. Don't lie. This will never happen. Ozzie is Ozzie, and will never change. -
Yes! My two favorite professional sports teams are now on a combined 8 game winning streak that spans over 4 months! :o

So glad this game is on WGN! -
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 1, 2011 -> 06:53 PM) Not, not even Rios. He was awful today. Just trying to spread the love. Lets just say, his bad day didn't affect the outcome. So therefore, go him!

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 1, 2011 -> 06:38 PM) Yeah, I botched that one pretty good. ah but it made me laugh when I read it. Sounds like it was an awesome game.. I wish I had CSN All the bars on campus are Cubs bars.. I was only able to follow on the ESPN ScoreCenter app. Dunn! Beckham! Konerko! Everybody! Even Rios!

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Mar 29, 2011 -> 02:37 PM) All of these teams need to open at home during the first week of the season in the AL. Oakland Anaheim Seattle Texas Tampa Toronto Kansas City They are the warmest places or have retractable roofs. It is so ludicrous that games are being played when it's 32 degrees and snowy. If the scheduling becomes too weird by having a majority of non-division games to start the season, then just start in mid-April and cut the season by two weeks. Glad to know I'm not the only crazy one who wants this to happen!
-
If the Sox get 95 wins, then they will also have 67 losses.
-
Really? Ugh, its not even April yet.

I'm so far out of the loop, I don't even really know when opening day is to look up the weather. MLB.com, here we come! And I need me some Soxtalk to get me back into the baseball groove. Fresh off a Superbowl victory, I think I'll have some renewed faith in my team this year.
-
I voted for the 3 spot. I think it makes the most sense to me, for a lot of reasons that people have stated. These are the kinds of polls I enjoy though. No answer is wrong, because where ever he bats, he will still hit some long and kickass home runs, and get on base.

White Sox acquire Gaby Hernandez from Royals

Can't hurt. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 25, 2011 -> 06:29 PM) Seriously. This is frustrating. Games get snowed out in Cleveland opening weekend every year. Why doesn't the Tribe start out on the road? Anyway, I'm annoyed. It is really frustrating. This is why I support chopping two weeks off each end of the regular season (and adding a 3 game wild card "play-in"). Baseball and snow do not go well together. Who here has gotten hit by a ball in the cold? Or taken a good rip and had your hands sting (aluminum bats anyways)? It's brutal.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 25, 2011 -> 08:05 PM) Ummm...MLB.tv? You can buy almost a whole year's worth of that with $65. He's probably like me. I'm in the blackout area on MLB.tv for the White Sox, but I don't get CSN here locally.

QUOTE (PeavyTime @ Feb 11, 2011 -> 01:01 PM) I live in Chicago and have Comcast. I get like 5 different CSN channels, like Bay Area and a few others with the sports package ($7 per month) Trust me, Comcast carries Comcast Sports Net. While the last part may be true for the SD channel, but Comcast in Indiana does NOT carry CSN HD (at least, in the greater Indy area).

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 10, 2011 -> 11:19 PM) Ok, so I signed for my lease to live in an apartment today. I was told that we are able to upgrade our basic cable package to buy sports packages or whatever. I was wondering, is it possible to buy a package that includes CSN Chicago? Being that me and the girls I am living w/ are all Sox and Hawks fans, we want to be able to watch our teams here at school. Wondering what sort of package I would have to buy to make this possible. I am pretty sure that MLB.TV is not an option since despite being over 200 miles from Chicago, we are still in the blackout range. I live in West Lafayette and I get CSN Chicago. You might get it!

Multiple Sources: Sox actively shopping Quentin
TitoMB345 replied to SoxFan1's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Good. Are people looking at him for RF? Or DH? Does anyone know what kind of market there could actually be for a butcher in the field who is injury prone? -
Well, my 53 home run prediction came after a solid night of drinking.. so, let me now readjust my number to be 46. Shoot for that!
