  1. There is no offensive talent anywhere in this organization. My GOD is this team bad.
  2. Wow, I never, ever thought this trade would end up so horribly.
  3. I seriously feel bad for the Rangers fans. Thank you Kenny! Best trade ever!
  4. I'm fine with it. Seeing how well it works at the college level, I think it could be fun. It ultimately hinges on how seriously the fans and players take it. If they play to win it, it could become ridiculous. As long as it's not the main point to these games, I think its fine.
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 25, 2010 -> 06:34 PM) ESPN said it richocheted off of behind his ear, not his forehead. Either way, thats a crushing hit. Ah yeah, on second viewing it does look like he managed to turn his head a split second before getting hit. I also read that he didn't even get a concussion.. lucky guy. Hopefully hes able to make a full recovery.
  6. If you don't like things that look painful, don't watch this. http://pittsburgh.pirates.mlb.com/video/pl...79&c_id=pit Pirates pitcher Chris Jakubauskas was nailed in the head with a line drive off of Lance Berkman's bat. This was his first start of the season, as the 31-year-old was called up Friday morning. I can't believe this guy got up! What a warrior. This is the hardest direct hit of a line drive I have ever seen. The ball bounced off his forehead all the way back to the catcher, in the air. Hopefully he's okay, and I hope I never see something this brutal again.
  7. What are the chances this one gets played? Jeremy Piven said on Twitter he was throwing out the first pitch, barring a postponement.
  8. Good news is we're gonna win tomorrow. John Danks is pitching! SWEEEEEEEP.
  9. Beckham, AJ, and Quentin combined 0-11.
  10. When was the last time we hit 2 homers in the bottom of the 9th?
  11. First series win of the year.
  12. Awesome. I love you Rios.
  13. Phew, we made it through the blackhole. Time for someone who can hit to get up there. Come on Rios!
  14. Quentin and AJ racing to .100. First one there get's DFA'ed. (Obviously joking).
  15. Byrnes won this game for the M's.
  16. Oh what do you know, a solo shot.
  17. I mean, did anyone really think we were going to win this game anyways? I didn't.
  18. And this game is OVA! Thanks Bobby, for sucking as a pitcher in games that don't count. This team is dead.
  19. Meh woulda been a double play anyways. Beckham sucks right now so hard.
  20. Please don't put Freddy back out there...
  21. Strike 'em out, throw 'em out. The key to Ozzie ball.
  22. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Apr 24, 2010 -> 05:25 PM) we cant say "shouldve been caught" on anything where a guy is already in a full climb of the fence. Agreed. There is no way that should have been caught. If he hadn't landed on the padding when he jumped up, he wouldn't have been close.
  23. Other than not catching it, that was one of the most heads up plays I've ever seen. Nice Byrnes!
  24. Haha cool stat. Andruw one of only 4 to hit a homer as a teenager and a homer as a 40-year-old.
