Good news about Kotsay batting today: the more ABs he gets, the closer he'll be to getting DFA'ed. So, Ozzie, please, continue to play Kotsay. Once his BA drops to around .050 you'll HAVE to get rid of him.

I agree that Beckham should be lower. I think 6th would suit him right now. Give him a chance at some (theoretical) RBIs, and take some pressure off of him. As we saw in '05 with Iguchi, the number 2 spot is key to our lineup's success.

I still think the most depressing thing about this season has been how awful Beckham has been.. I really hope he turns it around, because I don't want to be a fan of the franchise that ruined Bacon..
