  1. Alright, since I already voted for Chris.. my number two would be Quintana. I know it's early in his career, but he's been pretty good. A lot of people mention Buehrle when they talk about him, and that worked out well. Dayan would be third.
  2. If this isn't overwhelmingly slanted to Sale, I'll be shocked. He get's my vote. I can't wait to see what this kid can do in a year or two.
  3. Alright boys, let's get a few more off Verlander here. Come on!
  4. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 05:10 PM) Agreed it was but hearing Hawk cry about it over and over is annoying FTFY
  5. QUOTE (northside sawx @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 05:09 PM) Finally get.outta that Damn inning but the damage is done. BASERUNNERS, please. iPhone? Ahh you edited Danny before I could hit reply.
  6. QUOTE (Cali @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 04:38 PM) According to Gameday that last pitch by Jake to Avila was 47 mph. I think they were a bit off.... I think Jake just attempted the good ole 1st grade fastball with that one. Not unusual.
  7. QUOTE (kapzk @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 04:03 PM) Probably the biggest pitching matchup we have had all year, adrenaline is surely to be high in all the players competing today. Sale vs. Kershaw was (supposed to be) a big one! Glad I got to be at that one.
  8. QUOTE (southsidepride15 @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 05:03 PM) Which is exactly what we need from him; plate discipline and the ability to move runners/get the job done even when he's not swinging it well. Can't afford to have him taking big cuts and striking out and popping up all the time. The kid's got the baseball IQ....I truely believe he's going to be a .300 hitter one day. I think God I hope so. This kid has so much potential. He's got to figure it out eventually...
  9. Still waiting for that scrub to show up with that god-damned awful Cubs song.
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 05:36 AM) Seriously. This guy needs to go.
  11. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 15, 2012 -> 01:19 AM) http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...0,5138726.story A first: The Sox were the first team in baseball history to use eight rookie pitchers in a game, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. The previous mark was the Tigers' seven on Sept. 7, 2003, in Toronto. Haha, awesome, considering we won.
  12. Tough game. Let's get them tomorrow and move on from there.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 14, 2012 -> 08:35 PM) The Charlotte Knights I vote for this.
  14. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Jul 13, 2012 -> 10:09 PM) either anger or happiness are going to get dulled by sleepiness in a bit here Only 10:15 here! I could have this go one for another 6 innings before I get tired, haha. (I hope not)
