Expect Melina/Candice for the Women's strap to be announced for Vengeance tonight. Paul London recieved a "tongue-lashing" for having that grin on his face during Vince's "last walk"

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jun 18, 2007 -> 11:07 AM) Those shows were the most fun I ever had as a wrestling fan. I had more fun waiting in line to get into the Odeum than I ever had at a WWE or WCW card. Agreed. I remember at the first show I went to Tommy Dreamer used a wood pallet (sp?) during his match. After the match this idiot decides to reach over the railing and throw it back into the ring.... All of a sudden this 6'7" bodyguard with a mullet literally picks the kid up with one hand, and literally throws him out of the door. Needless to say the crowd popped. By far my favorite moment at a wrestling show.

QUOTE(Balance @ Jun 18, 2007 -> 08:58 AM) I, for one, would like to formally apologize to the poster who started the "FIRE SALE BY JUNE OR JULY" thread back in April. We all shouted him down. And, sadly, he's right. So, poster whose name I have forgotten, I am sorry. You were right. We were jerks. You mean the kid who posted in all caps?

Eh, other than Nitro & Kenny moving brands to hopefully see them get a push of some sort, the supplemental draft kinda sucked. I mean what the hell is Victoria gonna do on Smackdown.

Like to see Kenny moving to Smackdown, perhaps he'll get more TV time. So the Sandman is going to RAW to put people over i guess.

MVP v. Flair for the US Strap (I think I just threw up in my mouth a little) and Chavo v. Yang for the Cruiserweight Strap added to Vengeance. Is this the first time the Cruiserweight title was defended on a PPV?

QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 07:19 PM) Fields 2-2, but Gooch leaves him twice in scoring position with 2 outs. Must be cold in Pittsburgh. Didn't you hear, the wind blowing off of the river is giving a fierce chill.

Brian, your avy is hi-larious

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 14, 2007 -> 08:07 PM) Has anyone else seen Leon The Professional? Best film I've seen in a long time. Tons of times due to it being my dad's favorite movie.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 14, 2007 -> 05:33 PM) I will try to keep this as clean as I can, but it will be hard. My ex-fiancee a liar, a cheat, and it turns out a demon from hell was banging her boss, probably everyone else also. She stole some money from me. ***TIP TO ALL*** Make sure that you make your financial decisions based on sanity, not how flexible or depraved your fiancee is. Well after catching her in the act, I found out that she had stolen a good amount of money. So I hatched this plan, of trying to get my money back. I would pretend to be with her, and then act nice and convince her to get my money back. Stupid yes, but with a funny ending. After a month of being nice I realized that the demon wasn't going to give me my money without legal help. So I hatched a good plan to give her a romantic day of fun. I took her to the lake, we had a romantic picnic and the day was very nice. I took her home, and told her I still loved her and wanted her to be the mother of my children. She was touched. Very touched it seemed. I fended off the sex, talk about hard to do, but I was worried about the slim chance of pregnancy. So she still wanted to take care of me, and she did. And in her blinded state(you figure out why) afterwards, I told her that I was leaving. She screamed, and stumbled trying to get her vision back, you had me do that dirty act and then you told me you wanted to break up. I laughed and said well, I had to remember you for what you are. A foul and dirty whore. It was very appropriate the state I had left her. I told her she had until 5 o'clock tomorrow to get her s*** out or I was having it sold. She wound up marrying some goof after 2 months of dating him. It took me a while after to find someone worth trusting. Best one yet.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jun 13, 2007 -> 03:25 PM) They'd probably draft Jericho to ECWWE and job Show off to The Khali. ...or maybe Show would drag McMahon's casket around behind his car for a while... (I know Bossman rode Show's daddy's casket around, but it's the closest I could get to make the joke work....so sue me.... ) I completely forgot about that, I remember laughing for weeks about that stupid angle Even better was when the Boss Man stole Al Snow's dog, cooked him and fed it to Al Snow

QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 13, 2007 -> 02:43 PM) BTW, would anyone be opposed to trying Willie Harris at 2nd base next year, as long as he has a platoon person who can hit lefties good? Nope, not at all. -

So whats the opinion on Punk v. Benoit v. Burke v. Cor Von for the ECW Strap?
-
QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 10:06 PM) Very good ECW tonight other than the 15 minutes recapping last night. Dreamer/Balls was a harcore match done in true ECW fashion, Boogie Man/Striker was average, and Benoit-Punk/Burke-Cor Von was excellent. Though would anyone agree with me that the ending was botched by the ref? Our first match victim of the Refs not knowing the ending era. I think it's what Mr. McMahon would of wanted

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 05:34 PM) Just to get an early jump on Who Killed VKM: My first "suspect" is Coach, since he turned Vince around to go to the "right" limousine. I didnt even think about that.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 04:00 PM) Unfortunately, a REALLY interesting and fun Raw ended with a HORRRRRRIBLE gimmick that's going to lead to weeks and weeks of unwatchable WWE programming, as we watch Shane, Stephy, Linda, Patterson, Briscoe, Coach, good ol' JR, and countless others try to figure out Who Killed VKM, only to follow this poorly-written, hackneyed, craptastic angle to its inevitable s***ty stupid senseless retarded conclusion. .....hray..... Did we HAVE to get rid of the vomit smiley? I dunno, if done correctly this could be good. Could being the key word there.
