Capn12

The pitcher version of Yoan Moncada is back in his old stomping grounds....the IL. Says a lot about how awesome this organization is, when we're throwing Jesse Scholtens, Nick Padilla and Tanner Banks out there, as our pitchers first up from AAA when needed.

True, sometimes I like to forget 2020 was what it was. I guess I'm just at the point where, it would behoove both sides to just move on. We're not going to ever get the player we thought we were going to get. We thought we were getting a top tier talent, and we got a pretty good talent who spends a lot of time on the IL. Unfortunately, we have no answers at 3B, because.....well the organization flat out sucks at talent development and acquisition.

Problem there, is, baseball is a 'what have you done for me lately?' game. And Yoan lately has done....well...very little. 3 of the last 4 seasons, under 1 WAR, for a guy at his salary, is crazy.

Colas probably has the day off, so Sheets can play RF. That's how our organization works.

1 L closer to the sell off.

AV just up there swinging at everything, regardless of the location.

Springer with an Eloy-esque night in RF tonight. Alas, doesn't matter, no big hit there when needed.

TA with 2 hits in the 2 hole, good. Seeing as he isn't going to be moved, hopefully he just hits.

Amazing bullpen work.

7th inning? Time for ReyLo, regardless of the situation. Pedro doing his 'managing by script' method.

Reynaldo in to blow it for Lucas.

Kid is just unreal, glad to see him healthy and doing what we thought he could.

That ball ate Bichette up.

At this point, I'd be happy to see, everyday: C : Zavala 1B: Vaughn 2B: Sosa SS: Whatever 3B: Remillard LF: Beni CF: Robert RF: Colas DH: Burger/Eloy Sheets and Andrus have no long term future here, no reason to play them.

Yep. I get that Burger sucks right now, for sure, but....there isn't anyone else to play 3rd. Yoan is made out of glass, and we need Remi at 2nd (with Andrus shitcanned).

Ouch

Definitely not still employed in the highest level of organized baseball, I'm sure.

Nope, Madrigal has hit a round tripper this season, don't compare the 2!

Worthy 2 hitter

Our real RFer is back! (TA still batting 2nd)

Either Eloy is going to the IL (Again), or Frazier is being shitcanned. Can't see anything happening with the organization's golden child (Sheets), so who knows. About damn time, though.

Welcome to the team, Shaw! You'll fit right in.

Bummer is an equal opportunity walker. Can't wait for that contract to end. Maybe get wise to the fact that we don't need to be signing relievers to multi year deals?

Eloy is looking a lot like...........well, Eloy. That is a good thing.

Seby has 1 purpose there, and he can't do it.
