  1. New day, same Tim pull a groundball.
  2. These pitches are getting every single bit of the plate.
  3. He definitely swung on that, but whatever.
  4. Yeah, I mean I dislike Goodwin, but positioning there meant no one was making that play.
  5. That pitch was pretty....not great.
  6. Wasn't Heuer a qualifying roster move? Or...just not 'official' yet.
  7. Seby out-OPS'ing Yoan, Abreu AND TA the last 7 days. Yikes.
  8. See above, forgot about Engel completely. But no thanks to BHam starting. We can't punt 2 positions offensively right now, with the top of the order being so bad lately. Catcher is already a punt.
  9. Oh, I'm stupid....forgot about Engel. Yeah, this lineup is dumb. Quit falling in love with L/R crap, let the best PLAYER play.
  10. Yeah, that is the only solace....but then, our CF options right now are pretty garbage, weird that Leury is the "best" CF option on the roster, currently. Luis, please hurry back!
  11. Leury really doesn't need to still be playing everyday....
  12. No chance. I'm down on Yoan as much as anyone right now, but he is a natural at third, and was....shaky at best, at second.
  13. Maybe so, more than we knew. He was really great at generating RBI opportunities, for sure.
  14. I've been really surprised at the downstreak of the top of the order, all at the same time. It has really been on display, this road trip. Hopefully, being back home, against CLE, after these moves showing that we're in it to win, will get things going again.
  15. Hanigar makes too much sense, really. But....the cost is what will matter.
  16. Starting Rotation: ✔️ Bullpen: ✔️ Offense: Time to wakey wakey
  17. I will say, the 2021 FA options at 2B are pretty terrible, so maybe we are looking at Cesar next season too.
  18. What matters more, for the 2021 season that we're trying to win: what happened in the last 3 years, or what is ACTUALLY happening this season? Will Kimbrel fail to get a guy out in a post season game this year, because of a bad HR/9 rate in 2019?
  19. If the rest of the lineup can get their heads out of their collective asses, you can take Seby catching with no bat. But our current catching situation, coupled with the hitting woes, makes it a glaring weakness.
  20. For sure. How many relievers stay elite for a lengthy period of time? More the exception, than the norm. Yeah, we sold low on Cody, but bullpen arms go that way.
  21. So you only care about the part that fits your argument. Gotcha.
  22. What about the years before that? Arbitrary timeframes work both ways.
  23. Love it. Did folks expect to get Kimbrel, for High A fodder? Dude is electric this year again. AND, we get the opportunity to get a second baseman with an actual arm/glove.
