  1. Well that won't get you any playing time.
  2. Coming into tonight, we've scored 2 runs or less in 6 of 18 ballgames, 3 or less in 9 of 18 ballgames. Cry me a river about offense heating up as the weather does, flat out not getting it done, when other teams are, in the cold.
  3. Dylan battled all night, and leaves with enough of an effort to put us in a winning position. Insurance runs, please!
  4. 55 pitches through 3, blech.
  5. This team is going to have to be built to use 4+ pitchers nightly, no one outside of Sale seems to be able to manage pitch counts.
  6. Behind just about every hitter so far, that won't work.
  7. Hey look, Adam, a lefty that takes advantage of a righty on the mound!
  8. Sad that Alexei is out there to gather it faster than doofus.
  9. Is this Donnie Veal out there?
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 22, 2013 -> 08:28 PM) How did Keppinger get on base? Was it a clean single/line drive? With Dunn hitting 4th, no opposing pitcher will give Rios anything decent to hit. It's almost like the Mike Stanton Experience in Miami. Ball hit near the middle, Kipnis fielded it, but threw it WAY over the first baseman's head. Home call 'base hit'
  11. Get to him THIS inning, he is all over the place, he may settle after this.
  12. Hey look, Kepp hitting 2nd and Dunn cleanup!

Caught up with Orphan Black. Seems interesting enough, I don't need to see that blond chick's sliced up back again, though. Thanks.
  14. I love how some people just continue to say 'can we be patient?' We juts dropped 2 games to probably the worst team in the division, AT HOME. We are .500 at home, and dreadful on the road. These games in April count the same amount as the ones in September, when we may find ourselves not playing pee wee league competition. Should we still be patient then? This team was never set up to succeed, and even worse, the manager won't do a damn thing to move the lineup around. Kepp, is not a #2 hitter right now. May he snap out of it? I hope so, but right now he has no business being there. Try something new...jesus, running the same dead horse lineup out there, only contributes to more losses against bad competition.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 21, 2013 -> 05:01 PM) No. Jeff Keppinger will forever have a BABIP of .180, despite his career .290+ BABIP. Just like Dunn will not stay below .200 while in a Sox uni, because his career avs before that was .261, right?
  16. I love how we paid a career utility player, to be an everyday starter.
  17. What a joke. 2 runs in 2 games vs a terrible Minnesota pitching staff.
  18. The LOOGY walk machine vs their best lefty hitter, should be interesting.
  19. Lots of things you can do as the first reliever out of the pen. Walking the first guy on 4 straight isn't one of those things.
  20. Good curve to get out of it though, so there is that.
