  1. Bullpen is allergic to being aggressive.
  2. Do we have ANYBODY in the bullpen, not afraid of throwing strikes?
  3. Ummmm....no, he didnt swing at that actually...
  4. Our "dreaded" leadoff walks aren't quite as dangerous as anyone we play.
  5. They could have been called balls, but knowing they are being called strikes, you HAVE to protect against it on that last pitch, not stand there.
  6. Avisail looking oh so good at the plate.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 05:58 PM) Talk about leaving a pitcher in for way too long. Oh well, just a terrible start by Johnson today. With his next start in Colorado, he better be a lot sharper. There is actually someone in this bullpen you trust, to not walk another 37 guys?
  8. Yeah, keep walking people, dips***s.
  9. Boy, this pitching staff, minus Sale and Q, is not going to be enjoyable to watch...
  10. 159 games of the Adam Dunn Experiment left...matter of fact, that will make a good sig...
  11. 5 innings at best now from Q. So yeah...about that long reliever...
  12. Um...the worst effort there ever...and hooray, 3 runs. Thanks defense.
  13. He was pounding the strike zone pre-run down fubar. Now, dibble dabble all over the place.
  14. Damn if Q doesn't get rattled far too easily...
  15. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 02:51 PM) In 2.2 games, Eaton has 2 dives into 1st. Grinder-Esque
  16. Counting down the days, until Dunn is Done.
  17. 20 pitches in the first inning isn't going to help matters here, QUintana...
  18. What value does a lefty, who can't throw strikes OR get any lefties out, have?
  19. This bullpen is going to drive people CRAZY this year...throw damn strikes, man...its a lefty-lefty, do your damn job.
  20. And here I was, safe in my own thinking, that I'd NEVER have to see that name ever mentioned on Soxtalk, again...
  21. Makes Chris Sale look like he is making a few pennies a year. That's ok, I'll take that Chris Sale contract ANYDAY.
  22. Goodness....lucky ole us, I guess. I thought I only had to hear that BS from Clemson fans.
  23. As a Packers fan, I can say a huge thanks to locking up Cutler for 7 years. Appreciate it!
  24. Shaw being Shaw yesterday. I love it. I only wish that we hadn't burned his freshman season, all because Stephen Garcia was a douchenozzle at times. I knew Wiscy was going to be able to run at will, but that was only the case between the 20s. I also love how Tanner McEvoy got so pissy at South Carolina, and transferred to Wiscy, because he was told he'd never see the field as a QB. So he transfers, and....plays defense. Idiot.
  25. QUOTE (danman31 @ Dec 8, 2013 -> 09:47 PM) Clemson gets an at-large berth in a BCS bowl? Glad that system is gone. I had that discussion with my coworkers last Thursday, who are all Clemson fans here in Upstate S.C. I couldn't seem to get the point across that, you've accomplished nothing that is deserving of a BCS bowl, other than be the lucky recipient of a spot due to archaic BCS/conference limit rules. Welcome to the downside of the SEC, Mizzou. We(South Carolina) have been in the Top 10 of the BCS standings the last 3 years, beat the eventual SEC East champion all 3 years, and have zero BCS appearances to show for it. I'll never understand why such a system was 'trustworthy' enough to pinpoint the Top 2 teams for the BCSNC, but not used at all for Teams 3-10 for the other BCS bowls. Oh wait, I do understand...it was always about spreading the money to conferences, not about who deserved to be there.
