  1. Edwin Jackson, you are the weakest pitching link. Buh-bye
  2. AJ is pretty much the best catcher throwing out runners, ever.
  3. Nice to see the guys so full of life and hitting prowess, after the nice 6-3 road trip. Can we just play on the road the rest of the year?
  4. Letting Matsui hit may not be a great idea.
  5. That play by Omar ranks right up there in boneheadedry...

    First Credit Card

QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 14, 2011 -> 01:50 PM) I went with Discover for now. FWIW, I am not in debt, nor am I close. I've had a credit card for about 5 years, only it is in my dad's name, as well as mine. This is simply to build credit, for emergencies, and for anything over my debit limit. Not a bad choice at all. Discover will treat you well, as long as you return the favor. They won't ever lead the world in Credit Lines given out (in terms of how much credit), but they never did me wrong when I carried one.
  7. Man, I have missed Wimpy in the box with Hawk. Brings back old, great memories tonight.
  8. OK, that change up from Santos is absolutely ridiculous.
  9. WTF, did he just try that? What a morooon...
  10. I bet the A's hitters can't realize that the next pitch to the place will be.....a fastball
  11. Yes, lets walk the first guy you see, Thornton...

    First Credit Card

It's funny, some of you make it sound like its a dilemma only those in this country face. Surely, you aren't so naive to think that the credit card impact isn't felt in MOST countries, not just here? It is a tool, not the cause, as was already said. If you suck at money management, then yeah, you're gonna f*** it up and hopefully learn from your mistakes. There aren't many large (read: home, car, investment property, etc) purchases that CAN be made without a pretty lengthy credit history existing. Thats just how it is.
  13. OMFG ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Hahahahahaha, that kind of crap only happens to the Sox usually
  14. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 12, 2011 -> 12:24 AM) Juan Pierre, at least make up for one your s***ty fielding mistakes here. Pierre is so bad at the game of baseball overall, you just know that once his current contract is over, he'll be out of baseball and selling insurance or something.
  15. Thanks Rios, for getting that first hit with no one on base now.
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 12, 2011 -> 12:14 AM) I assume Peavy was decent tonight? I was watching NBA all night as White Sox games are no match when something interesting is on TV. He was solid enough. A couple of hangers that hurt him, but it would have been a non-factor if we knew how to hit with RISP.
  17. Bit of a hanger there from Peavy...but honestly, he hasn't pitched badly at all. If we had ANY ability at all to get a hit when it matters, we'd be winning this game.
