  1. 3 pitch K. Lulz
  2. QUOTE (The Gooch @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 09:30 PM) Your right, because he is on a losing team he is not making a difference. I bet you wouldn't have taken Zach Greinke in the White Sox rotation last year either? So you're willing to erase a career of mediocrity from Mr. Scotty, all in favor of what he has accomplished in 3 weeks, playing for a bad Kansas City team? Cool, sounds like a plan.
  3. Truth. Scott Podsednik's hot start to the season has single-handedly carried the Kansas City Royals... ...to an 8-13 start. Get over it. Pods is s***, Pierre is just a bigger turdstain than Pods is. I'll take neither of the above, thanks.
  4. I'm done. No reason to watch this garbage the rest of the way tonight. You can put whoever the hell you want in the lineup, Ozzie, but it doesn't mean s*** when you are picking from different size/shape turds. Glad you have your ever-so-desired smallball lineup. 0-6 road trip, here we come.
  5. But seriously....how many GIDPs is that this year?? Its like we all know to expect it if someone is on first.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 09:24 AM) Maybe its just me, but Pierre is Pods + baseball IQ. There really isn't any difference in their games or abilities, except Pods is baseball dumb, and Pierre understands what is going on around him. Actually....I think you are 100% right-on with that astute observation. I feel the same way.
  7. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 08:12 AM) Yesterday alone would have been a help. How many men LOB did Pierre have? The game was close. One key hit in those situations could have scored a run or 2 and changed the complexion of the game. The same Scott Podsednik who came up to the plate with the tying run on base in the 9th inning yesterday, and hit into a double play? Yeah, clutch. Riddle me this as well, fellow caped crusaders...last 5 games: Player 1: 4/21, 1 BB, 3 K's, 1 SBs Player 2: 4/21, 0 BB, 0 K's. 3 SBs Does that "Huge" difference in production look so huge lately? I love small sample sizes, you know, the same sample sizes that are making people line up to Pod's defense.
  8. True story. With Pods on this team, we'd at least have 12-14 wins, stellar left field defense, and a true threat on the bases. GMAFB. Pods alone would do jack s*** for this team, there are far too many other problems with this abomination of a baseball team.
  9. TON o' strikeouts tonight, to the lowly Texas Ranger pitching staff. For some reason, I felt fairly optimistic about our chances to take a series in Arlington. Don't ask me why, but now reality might be setting back in.
  10. Let me get my vomit bag ready for the senseless comments sure to come...

The amount of Pods' knobslobbering in this thread is despicable. The guy has had a good 3 weeks....3 WEEKS...playing for a gutwrenchingly average Kansas City team, who no one expects anything out of regardless. Not a chance on this great, green earth, that Scott f***ing Podsednik would have made 3+ WINS difference when no one behind him would have been doing anymore than they already are. You're right though, 3 weeks of the 2010 season for an aging, 1.25 tool outfielder should FAR outweigh any numbers that he put up in the previous 7+ YEARS of a mediocre career.

Thanks gents. #33...they're adding up a bit too quickly these days...
  13. Alex f***ing Rios, you Seattle mother f***ers!
  14. 50 total pitches in 4 innings for the Fister. Same s***, different day.
  15. How many goddamn DPs have we hit into this year?
  16. Goddamn...I love me some Andruw Jones
  17. I'm sure Lopez's eyes lit up after seeing a BP fastball right down the pipe....good one.
  18. But really, who didn't expect that...
  19. Randy Williams, your ticket to the Independent leagues is ready.
  20. Hell yes, way to go Danksy, helluva performance out there. Andruw, Paulie, Bobby, yes!
  21. 5 hits....5 whole, awesome, motherf***ing hits. Enjoy your bonehead decision-making, losing season Ozzie.
  22. Pathetic. Give me a f***ing break, this team is brutal.
  23. If it weren't for being 1 hit in Toronto, this game would easily qualify as the low point of the 2010 season so far. Shut down by a bad Cleveland team, and an efficient Talbot...
  24. Bechkam is a natural at second, I love to watch him play the field. When his head isn't up his ass, Alexei is pretty solid at SS as well.
  25. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:44 PM) I get pretty happy when we get the leadoff guy on, until I see Mark Kotsay hitting next.. And like clockwork...
