By the numbers, both men are slowing down due to wear and tear/age etc, so the SB numbers are declining for both. Also, don't tell me Pods gets on base anymore than Pierre either, as you can tell by the numbers above, overall that is not the case. Part of that goes back to the durability issue. Pierre is making 3 million from off of the Sox payroll this year(LA paying $7 mil for 2010 and $3.5 mil in 2011), and just 2 years/$8 mil overall. Pods is making 1.75 million from the KC payroll, but WANTED a multi-year contract talks to even consider the White Sox. Pods is a great 'flavor of the week' right no for KC, because he is no doubt producing big time. But history, statistics, and plain ole common sense tells you that, in the long run, the guy on our current team is the guy that should be on our team. Use some common sense.

Well...Ramirez HAS to sit, he is as dangerous as Rafael Belliard circa 90s was, right now at the plate. Then, he carries his light hitting woes with him out into the field, and plays like a bonehead in the field. Now, having Kotsay, Vizquel and Pierre in the lineup all at the same time sucks majorly. Maybe Ozzie figures by putting all of the light hitting players in the lineup at the same time, we can enter some sort of alternate paradox world where we know what situational hitting is.
