If we look this great now against Masterson and the Indians bullpen, I can't wait to see what the rest of the Central makes us look like.

Our hitting is pure s*** right now, plain and simple. And gavin is going to be gone by the 5th with the pitches piling up.

Video Game Catch-All Thread
Pre-ordered Heavy Rain, lets hope its worth even half the hype. Also, I really want to play Dante's Inferno, but every review I've seen mentioned the overly-obvious "God of War" feel to the game. Hell, I'll probably still end up getting it eventually, but I'm gonna play God of War 1 and 2 first.

QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Jan 27, 2010 -> 09:32 AM) Reports on South Carolina boards are that DeMarcus Cousins punched a fan on the way off the court last night. Calimari will figure out a way to sweep this one under the rug I'm sure. And reports are true on this one, but I wouldn't expect much to come from it...Cousins is a timebomb waiting to go off at the wrong time, but he is an absolute beast on the court. And, oh yeah, how about my boys!! Downey is going to sorely be missed next year, but damn if it isn't fun watching him this year.

Soda, Pop, whatever
There is really no comparison, cane sugar based sodas are above and beyond better than HFCS ones. Unfortunately, HFCS sodas are cheaper to make, therefore, thats the crap we get. The sugar cane versions of Mt. Dew and Pepsi are available here already as well. Where are you, Vanilla Coke Zero? I miss thee so much.

QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 19, 2009 -> 09:09 PM) And the worst team in the SEC just beat one of the Big 10's best. How bad is that? Georgia was a bad 4-4 team, with some pretty bad losses.

This just in: The SEC is to college basketball what the ACC is to college football....A complete embarassment.

The SEC bowl selection process by the Bowl committees, absolutely disgraceful. That is all.

All the talk keeps going to Kentucky, and yet here I am, I haven't seen them play a dominant game. I think they will lose more games in the conference than some may think. Of course, it helps that my team is a dog in said SEC conference.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 2, 2009 -> 12:51 PM) Urban Meyer suspends Brandon Spikes for the first half of their next game. Way to send a message! Douchebaggery coaching leads to douchebaggery play apparently. Attaboy Urban, take a stand!!

QUOTE (farmteam @ Nov 1, 2009 -> 09:50 PM) Yeah I watched most of the Foo Fighters show, pretty good. I can't wait for them to tour again. Unfortunately, I don't foresee it happening anytime soon. I'm a HUGE Grohl fan, but he is still enamored with the whole John Paul Jones-Josh Homme combo, I think its going to be a bit.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Oct 26, 2009 -> 03:23 PM) Fantastic assessment. I would agree with everything you wrote. Are we going to get Good Jon or Bad Jon? That will be the big factor. SC's secondary is very tough and you have some damn good pass rushers, so I think we'll have to run on you guys to do well. Still, Crompton has to take what the D gives him and not force stuff (like the last 2 games), or else we'll be out of this one. And yeah, that upper deck (I'm assuming the south corner endzone) in the worst spot in the stadium, which I guess is why we stick the opposing fans up there. 4 Turnovers leading to 4 short fields and 24 points. We're just not good enough to overcome that. Grats on the win, I hate to think 'what if' concerning maybe if we knew how to hold on to the football.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 31, 2009 -> 05:06 PM) Tebow is shutting me up, he's looking really good today. Best he's played all season, imo. This putrid Georgia defense has a way of making even marginal QBs look good, it will make Tebow look like a demi-god.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Oct 30, 2009 -> 10:10 PM) The bold is basically what the ACC is. SEC fans think its just shows how deep their conference is but they think its a mess when it pertains to other conferences. OK. Remind me again which ACC teams are like the SECs 2 Top teams? Hell, look at Virginia Tech, losing to a mediocre UNC team AT HOME. Look at Miami, losing at home to what was an offensively inept Clemson team, and right now losing to Weak Florist.
