Pitching matchup heavily against us tonight, in a place that we struggle mightily, against a team playing decent baseball right now.... I said also coming into the 6 game roadtrip I'd be happy with 4-2. Well, we are well on our way to at LEAST that, and we have our 2 studs yet to go in this series. Contreras, well I'm honestly not expecting much out of him tonight. I'd LOVE to be proven wrong, and would gladly eat my words. Tonight will be a night where the pen gets used, and early. Lets hang in there tonight, see if we can get some timely hits, solid defense behind Contreras, and give ourselves a shot to eek one out.

He still gave up some hammered shots though. Still with that being said, it was a quality start, which was all we could ask for from that slot in the rotation.

I'm probbly in the minority here, but I do NOT want Jenks up here when we are on our run for a pennant. Something still lingering in the back of my head that says "You've heard about this guy and everything he has brought along the way in his career." Not the personality I want in the clubhouse, but thats just me.

I'm thinking Guido was one of the guys I met in Chicago when I drove up from South Carolina for a KC weekend series in 2003. I know I met Killa, and I'm pretty sure Guido was with him. Ya enough of that crap. Anyways, we put ourselves in position to lose this game about 5 different times, but it wasn't meant to be. Always big to have the series won before the finale, the road trip is already starting very well. Can we sustain it in Oakland? Well, thats something we all want to see.

Its not very difficult to understand. Go look at Bajs numbers at the shoebox in Charlotte. He deserves a shot IF we ened another bullpen arm. Tell me someone else in the organization that should be called up before him?

No one is arguing teh facts Prep. But thing is, our pitching and defense have given us every chance to win this game, and this bulls*** approach to the plate that our hitters have right now WILL be the reason we lose.
