I see how this is going to go, much like it does a lot for Dylan: High pitch count means he'll be gone after 5. The offense will still be useless, not adding any runs, and Cease will depart with the slimmest of leads. The bullpen will waste no time in giving that run back to SF, forcing Cease into yet another No Decision.

How sad is the organization overall, when everyone knows that the only suitable player at AAA if needed, is now up, 5 days into the season? Any other injuries, and we have absolutely nothing to replace them with.

Cease definitely loves pitching during the day, based on his 2022 performances: Man, the sad thing, looking at that, is he actually got saddled with 4 L's, while pitching to a 1.44 ERA and 1.05 WHIP. Sheesh.
