  1. AJ looked sick against Escobar in Chicago. Hopefully, he learned something other than run to first after you whiff.
  2. Rowand doesn't have a chance here.
  3. What is Rowand swinging at?
  4. Let it hit you and steal second.
  5. Everett swinging for the fences isn't going to get it done.
  6. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 08:44 PM) Then we better let Jose keep going, because NOBODY has pitched for a while I think the Sox would be better off with Politte or Hermanson. They are veterans and probably know how to deal with inactivity a little better.
  7. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 08:42 PM) Good game JC. Let's get the lead here and turn it over to Jenks Jenks is the one guy I'm worried about the most with the layoff. I wonder if he will have command.
  8. Pods doesn't have lightning speed in the field. He is very catious going after flyballs.
  9. Duque warming is stupid. The Angels lit him up this season.
  10. Let's get Politte and Cotts warmed up.
  11. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 09:01 PM) LOL @ Buck...."And Neal Cotts can tell all of the other pitchers in the bullpen what it was like to pitch in the ALCS...." For as annoying as Buck can be, he does have some clever lines every now and then.
  12. Thought he was being yanked.
  13. Garcia was awesome.
  14. QUOTE(BigEdWalsh @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 08:59 PM) And 1-16!! His one hit was a scratch infield hit.
  15. Guerrero hits more grounders to SS and 3B than Rowand.
  16. QUOTE(Wanne @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 08:56 PM) I'd have like to have seen a suicide with Gooch up....WHY NOT!?!? That is considered bush league at this stage. It might have gotten Dye a ball in the earhole.
  17. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 08:55 PM) We're gonna regret not scoring that run from 3rd. If you had a 9 run pool, most definitely.
  18. The one problem and its a problem I would love to have every October, with the lack of bullpen work, if the Sox somehow won tomorrow and the bullpen didn't get much work, the WS doesn't start until a week from tonight, so some of these guys wouldn't have seen the mound in 3 weeks.
  19. I leave Freddy in for Vlad, just to try to get him to hit another grounder, and make him think about it for 24 hours. A homer off a rusty pitcher could get him going. As good as this series looks, a break could turn it all around. The Angels did beat the Sox 5 times in a row at USCF this season.
  20. I know they usually let that go, but it should be called like it just was.
  21. What about Hermy? He didn't even pitch against Boston.
  22. Whether they bring anyone in or not, I just hope they totally shut them down and keep them demoralized. Scoring a few runs the last couple innings may put their minds in a better place tomorrow. Kick em while they're down.
  23. AJ would be the first to say that was pitiful.
  24. OMG an Aaron Rowand sighting. Things are getting world serious.
  25. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 08:30 PM) Antonio Osuna. He's Mr. Pessimism. Maybe he's a genius using reverse psychology.
