  1. Another game to blame ozzie Lillibridge should have been in there from the first over Rios and/or Pierre
  2. So now Santos will be unavailable tomorrow and is extended today when there is no chance of the Sox scoring Sale or Ohman should be in here
  3. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 20, 2011 -> 09:54 PM) It's tough to want Sergio to be perfect, but damn ... we've been playing so much better and still f*** it up with 2 outs in the ninth. Geezus. The Sox have not been playing good they have been pitching incredibly This offense is an utter disgrace
  4. the 5.14 ERA of Kelly Jansen does not tell the whole story. He threw a ton of hittable pitches and that Sox did s***.
  5. ton of hittable pitches that they do nothing with
  6. You could probably throw the ball under hand and these guys would pop up on the infield.
  7. another case of a s*** player beating the Sox do they even employ a scouting department?
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 20, 2011 -> 09:38 PM) At some point someone from the left side needs to be something more than mopup. ugh
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 20, 2011 -> 09:36 PM) You wanted sale against ether? Crain, he gets lefties out just fine
  10. QUOTE (Y2HH @ May 20, 2011 -> 09:32 PM) And Thornton is our setup man...and its the 8th, when setup men pitch. If Ozzie had put in Crain, as you asked, at the start of the inning, and Crain blew the hold, you'd be b****ing that Ozzie didnt go with our regular setup man...so in the end, this was a lose lose situation for Ozzie, because you are openly and obviously biased. There is no instance where Thorton should be pitching over Crain right now. Thorton should have thrown the 9th last night to get some work in
  11. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 20, 2011 -> 09:24 PM) Blame the leadoff walk and Matt for sucking again. Not Oz. Crain is a better pitcher and thus should have started the 8th
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 20, 2011 -> 09:22 PM) Santos? Crain is pitching as well as Santos.
  13. Three batters to late for f*** nuts guillen indians about to win
  14. There is no way Thorton should face Uribe. Thorton throws one pitch and it is the only one Uribe can hit a high fastball
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 20, 2011 -> 09:16 PM) Hasnr Crain worked a lot lately? Or am I jut drunk and low on blood? Threw 1.2 innings Tuesday the bullpen had been doing to well to keep it up please take Thorton out so that we are only chasing 2
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ May 20, 2011 -> 09:10 PM) Morel doesn't have enough opposite field power to consistently hit the ball over the right fielder's head. I like his swing more when he tries to pull the ball. Walker will get him doing that soon enough
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 20, 2011 -> 09:05 PM) Thome was always 150 poitns of ops worse against lhp. Even in Cleveland. Maybe so but when he was on the Sox any leftie would get him out rather easily and then I recall the Thorton at-bat last year. I am sure Dunn's career average against lefties is higher than .000 and it is a small sample size but it seems like an odd coincidence
  18. I will continue to say that there is something in the way Walker works with LHH as they are incapable of hitting any type of LHP. Thome and now Dunn are easy examples. Hopefully Walk can get to work on the three practice swing Rios and getting him hitting....... The Sox at home swing from the heels and thus hit high fastballs and hangers in the air on the infield.
  19. Beat Cleveland every time you play them and you will pass them as the Sox are a better team. That's all.
  20. tigers lost I am glad the Sox are winning but the last two innings have been brutal at-bats against chad durbin
