It is still amazing to me that Indiana and Iowa play their HS playoffs indoors and the state of Illinois plays at ISU and/or NIU. Neither facility is much of anything. I do not mean this as a slight to Iowa or Indiana but shows how ass backward the state of Illinois is. The IHSA (athletic body of the high school sports) is the epitome of Illinois bloat, waste and incompetence. -

Hanson is a CPS Stadium on the north side. -
Not calling the hooking was bad and the UNS was just icing on the cake

Is “The 78” Dead? Or even more alive? Fire announce plans for SSS

I see your point but he is businessman not some guy spouting off on a fan forum. He knows the risk reward of what he is saying. My guess is he is more aggressive than Ricketts and there is something in the works either renovating New Comiskey or moving somewhere in the Loop area. If the Bears pay off the bonds a 40K seat venue to replace Soldier Field would be ideal. Some form of Chicago leadership to replace Soldier Field with something that could compete with the Bears venue in Arlington Heights while the Sox are main tenant. -
That was a great game. Bedard seems to to be trending toward stardom if not superstardom.

The ESPN 1000 is solid nothing has ever really stood out. The SCORE is much better at providing content that is informative. ESPN is more conversational chat that doesn't do much for me. Harris and Rahimi are both sidekicks neither can lead a show. I always thought Jurko and Bernstein would be an interesting grouping similar to Boers and Bernstein

Great rebound for the Porters I think they started slow. Did not see them throttling Barrington like that. As solid a 8A program as there is. Hoping to cheer them on Thanksgiving weekend. Lansau playing injured and they seem to have lost a few guys that hampered them. -

I thought SCN would be the deepest opponent BR would play all playoffs. BR will have a big advantage on the LOS. My guy over at BR still believes without a couple of questionable calls in MC game by OC and refs, BR was as good as MC. WS2023 wasn't Lansau all set to go to BR? -
Caleb and Johnson can only get better and it will be magical. My only issue is Williams is still holding the ball too long and not getting results out of it. The only short coming I see is Poles building the roster needed to cover for injuries. Once they start having to pay some guys the free agency and drafting misses will hurt. Why was TE3 targeted 3 times? Dennis Allen seemed to relax on the blitzing yesterday while Flores stepped it up. I'm guessing it must be a scheme v scheme decision.

MC and BR can't broadcast for free this week on Youtube because of WCIU and NFHS. The NFHS broadcasts are worse in most cases than the student run. -

They should put a tape on of Fremd around 2017 BR #1 in state and lost round 1 or Barrington 2016 (up 21 starting 4th and lost). There is a lot of history to Brother Rice not living up to expectations and doing themselves in. Its kind of a southside tradition hand in hand with the White Sox. I think their current guy is different. We shall see. SCN is no joke had has as good a football history as BR. -

If Mt Carmel wins 8A that will be as difficult a road as I recall Loyola 8 hour bus ride to Bellview or wherever it was LWE Fremd - QB is all that and LWE will show them some things Barrington or Maine South That is an insane path -

Jacobs plays in one of the better conferences in the state. Just about all of the teams play really good football. -
Similar to the Brewer player not taking the HBP, instincts are one thing but awareness is another. The coach especially at the MLB level needed to do a better job with that situation. I also thought with 1st and 3rd, a squeeze would have been a good call with Vladdy at third or getting the guy on first moving. You knew the pitch was going to be a breaking ball down in the zone to get the grounder and avoid the sac fly option. It was a pitcher is impeccable control. I know, all hindsight.

Playing with a messed up elbow as well. Seems to have gotten the memo on stepping up his game.

Has anyone brought up the runner at third topic of him sliding. I know the secondary lead was bad but if he doesn't slide he is safe. He should have listened to Hawk. Kind of the flip of the Jeter play. That was a great world series but is tarnished for me as I just can't back the Dodgers

Benedet is trending in that direction. He escorted a guy 5 yards deep into the bench area.

My thoughts. The special teams decision on KO had an issue in the Minnesota game and it has gone downhill from there. Their KO coverage is so bad they should kick into the endzone every time and give the team the ball at the 35. The KR is awful and a guy was signed to make it better. Hightower is awful. Higgins and Chase are beasts and Flacco knows what to do with them. Rome should be in trending that way but I am not certain what goes on with him. He does not attack the ball like elite WR's do. The defense was going to have their hands full yesterday and they did. The Bengals offense is elite and the defense was given short fields on KO a good amount so I was actually ok with how they played. The inabiltiy to defend on special teams are the guys that are relied on for defense now and that is not good for anyone. There was something about Monangai that interested me when they drafted him. Loveland scoring was key as it allowed us to not have to rely on Santos as kicking seemed tough yesterday in that stadium and again special teams was not having a good day. I am not certain that was a "bad win". Defense was put in bad position by Special teams and the offense outperformed one of the best offenses in the league on the road. Oh and I will can any playoff game I can get.

Michael Jordan felt that Game 5 was the most crucial game of any playoff series.

Only it Ryan Poles can figure out how to properly build a roster.

Baltimore will be irrelevant in the NL East next year. They are not spending.

Not a single person watching that game cared about that or viewed it negatively.

I got tired of it in the middle couple episodes but the ending two were fantastic.
