They really need to get a new plan of attack as this has not worked in over 5 years. I can see being off balance but looking this bad -

I send my kids to a private school I have a friend who has two kids there one kid is a C student the other has never received anything other than an A. It is the school's fault that the C studetn is a C student but the school gets no credit for the A student.

87-75 is above average 81-81 is average Mediocore is another term for average let's wait until Ocotber to determine which the Sox are. Today the White Sox are exceptional as they just beat two ofthe best pitchers in baseball. Monday morning they were bad.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 7, 2011 -> 09:24 PM) If it helps get his mind back to hitting, you do it. That is what I am thinking and Konerko's seems to enjoy the rest...he ain't no spring chicken -

I wonder if Konerko is liking the DH position. Dunn may see more time over there as Konerko seems to be just fine as a DH. Play him 3 times in the field a week. -

If this is the Phil Humber that we will see going forward, he is virtually untradeable. Humber makes however bad of a move Hudson was tolerable. -

Minnesota was on a little streak so Cleveland beating them will hopefully hurt them as I fear the twins in the long run heads up against the Sox as opposed to Cleveland.. I hate that the Sox have not played Minnesota more. -
QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 05:43 PM) What were exactly the circumstances of this being said? Not that shocking though. I always felt that Ricketts could never afford the Cubs, especially when he was asking for public money in year one. I am a little shocked that he said it was always a business venture though considering he seemed like a Cub fan who wasn't going to just spend blindly. Now it appears, he was a phony since the beginning. MLB wouldn't have this problem with the Cubs had they just allowed Cuban to buy it. He would've turn them into a real powerhouse, on the field and financially. The father is the one saying the business stuff. Tom Rickettes is a die-hard fan. His father is a businessman. Tom pitched the idea to the familiy and the family is it for the business only. Tom is looking like he is left to figure it out on his own. The cubs did not get the rich owner fan they wanted, they got Paris Hilton with a piggy bank.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 7, 2011 -> 12:26 PM) Yeah, not a big problem, just wish that kind of stuff was coming from a starter. finish 60-102 and you may get that kind of player I am still chcuckling about the cubs player's picture -
Jon got his 6 innings. I know Pineda is good but come on 57 pitches through 5

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 02:01 PM) MDGonzales sox lineup Perre - LF Ramirez - SS Quentin - RF Konerko - DH Pierzynski - C Lillibridge - CF Dunn - 1B Beckham - 2B Morel - 3B Danks -LHP I went on about it yesterday but AJ is terrible at driving in runs and is last among everyday players in runs scored yet here he is batting fifth. I do not care what Dunn is hitting he is better number 4 option than AJ...ugh This is not a rant against AJ by the way just guillen trying to look smart.

for some reason I thought he was dead
-
This Mariner series could be pretty ugly. I could see the Sox WHIP for the series being about 0.50.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 5, 2011 -> 04:39 PM) He's been hitting behind Rios and Dunn. Who is he supposed to knock in? He has driven more than 64 runs twice in his career and never more than 77. He is not an RBI guy so there is no reason to bat him above 7th. Adam Dunn has more RBI than him this year. AJ also has scored the least amount of runs on the team. There is no situation where he should bat hitter than 7th, ever.
-
AJ has a whole 18 RBI this year and his career high is 77. No reason for him to ever bat higher than 7th in the line-up
-
Sox schedule favors a run if the offense can figure out how to be consistent. Hopefully they just need to skip Peavy Sox pen did fine today

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2011 -> 03:58 PM) Could be that way...kinda ironic the only time we lucked out was in our series against the Dodgers. With our pitching match-ups in consideration, that's why you have to win games when you have your 20 million dollar pitcher going up against Brad Penny. Sox lucked out against Boston big time at a time when they really needed it.
