a part of guillen's job is to put players in the best position to be successful...he is not doing that although he will scream from the mountaintops that is exactly what he is doing for Lillibridge and morel. -

Humber tired at 90 pitches and Hernandez is breezing at 120 this offense is an epic embarassment -

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 03:20 PM) Good thing is I'm sure our players have confidence we can comeback after Friday night. Just can't allow more runs. why they have not hit the last two days and Washignton's pen is very good. It is not real likely they will blow it. Friday the Sox lost so there really is nothing positive about simply prolonging a game at this point. -

I can't wait for the weather to warm up so the offense can get going. Have the Washington starters gone 20 innings and given up 2 runs? -

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 03:10 PM) Ozzie should get the bullpen up. Humber usually starts to lose his effectiveness around the 90 pitch mark. especially with the washington pen, they can not give up a run -

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 03:04 PM) Beckham and Dunn just baffle me this season. I know (actually hope) this is not true but it appears that they are not evening looking to adjust to anything and just assume things will get better -

Hernandez at 100 pitches. Really no reason to worry about pitch count though as he really does not have any stuff to lose as he tires anyway. -

QUOTE (FlySox87 @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 02:36 PM) Don't get me wrong, I love Humber and what he's done for us so far, but does anyone else think his inability to get through the eighth inning hurts his legitimacy in terms of Cy Young and All Star voting? I don't personally care, he's been terrific and he's helping us win games...I just think that might be used to separate him from the Weavers, Becketts and Verlanders of the league. we are talking all-star not top five in all of baseball -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 02:17 PM) That's a bizarre series though...Florida is playing a home series in Seattle because of a previously scheduled U2 concert. that was why I thought Florida would have had a say in game time. Maybe Joel Osteen was holding services there this morning -

Seattle and Florida are playing tonight at 9:05 that seems odd for a Sunday. You would think Florida would have wanted a day game. -

the lillibridge at bat still ticks me off when I see the guy taking one for the team Rios has 20 RBI at the end of June I do not care what he has done the last few days he is making as much as Dunn and has produced just as little -

Konerko has sat back and taken Hernandez to left...he has turned into an amazing hitter I wish the rest of that lineup would do the same Dunn oughta stand closer to the plate and just try to drive the ball to left for one at bat. It couldn't make make him look any more foolish than he looks now. -

omar ruined that inning with a bad at-bat the day off for morel is not a bad idea as he played the whole last two games. I rather Teahen been there over Omar though I'd actually rather have Teahen over Dunn -
