There's also a difference in that the Clinton case is about what Comey chose to do and when, and this is about what Trump did and said more than about Comey himself.

MR. PREDISENT Their argument seems to be to vaguely accuse Comey of doing something illegal and that he had no right to disclose personal conversations with the Predisent. There's also the implication that they're accusing Comey of committing perjury. Good luck with that one.

He was trying to conflate the clinton email server investigation and the Russia tampering/possible campaign collusion campaigns.

The questions highlighting that Trump only ever talked to him about dropping Flynn and removing "the cloud" around him and never asked about any other major issues or ongoing investigations seems pretty damning.

This has been so much more brutal than I thought it would be. Opening with calling the President of the United States a liar under oath. Also pretty ridiculous of Lynch to ask Comey to call the Clinton stuff a "matter" instead of an investigation.

See, that deflection just doesn't work so well when you're the one poster who is getting into fights with many other people. Things have certainly gotten heated back here from time to time, but in the 10+ years I've been posting back here, I don't recall anyone who so consistently picked fights like you do. Jenks and ss2k5 and me and BS and SB and NSS and others have been arguing back here for years and, yeah, sometimes it gets snippy and snarky and a little more aggressive than it should, but your behavior is pretty unique. I don't think I'm the only one who's noticed this, either, but maybe I'm wrong on that account.

I don't enforce rules around here! That you're a mod who can't seem to help getting into constant slap fights and bringing up other posters to whine about them when they're not even part of a particular conversation is what makes it all the more pathetic. None of the other more conservative mods or posters back here seem to have the same constant problems with so many posters that you do. What was your post supposed to add to the conversation? What post of mine were you actually commenting on rather than trying to insult me for getting paid while posting a bunch on SoxTalk.com? Since I don't follow other posters around here to drop irrelevant insults about how frequently they post, what they talk about, etc. that's not really mirror posting or using my verbiage. That's just you being a dick because you don't like me and saw an opportunity to make another cheap shot.

It's an attempt to insult or anger me or at least push my buttons. That's 1, 3, or 4. You've made a similar whine before; that's 5. It obviously adds nothing to the discussion other than a cheap shot you can't seem to resist taking at posters you don't like, so that's 6. You can't seem to handle posting back here without randomly insulting other posters and dragging them into conversations they're not even a part of. Or, as in this case, jumping into a conversation you're not a part of to add nothing other than an insult.
