Indians pitching is good but it’s not this good. Going to be very fortunate to steal 1 win this series.

Yesterday you said Grandal fades late in the season. If this is what he looks like at the start of the season, what does the fade look like?

They lost two games by a combined 3 runs. He very well could have been the difference.

Crazy how you take one guy out of the lineup (Eloy) and it changes the entire complexion of the offense.

There are a lot of Madrigal haters on this board so I’m sure they will be all over him if he comes out of the gate slowly but it’s hard for even the critics to argue that you’d rather see Delmonico in this lineup everyday over Madrigal.

He’d be replacing Delmonico in the lineup but Garcia in the field at 2b. Both a win in my book.

But at least he knows how to situational hit. Something this team is clearly lacking. Also, he plays terrific defense at 2b.

I still think they’re going to make the playoffs but they aren’t going anywhere if the starting pitching doesn’t improve dramatically.

Don’t say that around here. Upgrading the catching position via free agency was a must last offseason.

Meant to say “needed”. Keuchel is one of those two vets but they’re still one short assuming 2019 Giolito is what we see moving forward.

Sox need at least two reliable veteran starters to pair with Giolito if they want to contend. Cease, Kopech, Rodon, and Lopez were all huge wild cards coming into this season. At best, you get decent production from two of those in the 4/5 slots but even that was a huge if.

McCann was so bad last year that it made complete sense to move him to the bench for 2/3 of the games in 2020. You’d think we were the Dodgers or something with no holes elsewhere.

Glad we used our limited resources on another catcher rather than more starting pitching last winter.

Almost like Ricky is intentionally trying to get fired now. Then he still gets paid and doesn’t have to risk getting covid.
