  1. What? The Cubs have to pay? Chad Krueter was the dips*** Dodger catcher who choked the guy (probably the same guy who sued and won). How are the Cubs responsible for that? Your house, your guests, you're responsible. That is why the Cubs lost. Was security using corked sammy (billy) clubs?
  2. I'd be happy if Mark signed a 5 year deal. He'll win 85-100 games over the next 5.5 years depending on where he is playing.
  3. Frank Thomas, 0-for-4, 2 K's! What a loser! You little punk. Frank Thomas .275 BA, 16 homeruns and 35 RBIs. MB 3-10 with a 4.85 ERA. And Franks a loser? If we start throwing stones at underachievers on this team a quote from Forest Gump comes to mind "sometimes there not enough stones . . ."
  4. cafepress.com will do any logo etc with no set ups, min prders, etc. they handle the orders and send the profist to the llisting company. Easy deal for associations, small companies, clubs etc. No financial interest, I just like their work. They will even do a thong for HSC
  5. I guess we probably all are then... I don't care who the player is, even if I think he is a complete asshole, I still want to see him succeed, because it helps the Sox; which is the MOST important thing. NO ONE PLAYER is more important than the team, no matter what some players think... I root for the Sox too. Which is why I want MB gone. I cant root for MB so I want him to leave. Then Ill be able to root against him... I'll bet if he got on a 6 or 7 game win streak you would come around.
  6. We should have Soxtalk lucky hats. Hey listowners go to cafepress.com

  8. That's a Sox winner! Third win for Mark and it's only June! I'm guessing he rips off 5 in a row.
  9. Flash gets a chance against his old team.
  10. WTF!? Is JM holding a f***ing lottery to decide who pitches?
  11. Nothing like watching the Red Sox feed. The announcers are so bored they're looking for Red Sox fans in the stands.
  12. yes he should be brimming with confidence. Exactly why he should be pulled for the 9th. Too much of a chance for a loss.
  13. worked so well letting Colon pitch the 9tha couple days ago I'm sure JM will let him go.
  14. Hehehehehe, just think about it. After tonite, hell be halfway to Colon, or a third of the way to Loz. Our "ace" will be one third of the way to a guy who I honestly did not expect to make the team...
  15. Minny who? It's been so long since I thought of them. Let's catch KC
  16. pitch hard mark, those may be all you get . . .
  17. This is way more entertaining than about half the Sox games this year. Thank you all.
  18. Well Hockey and Basketball is over I guess I have to start paying attention to the Sox.
  19. Damn, I want to get thrown off a board. I'm trying to think of one a Sox fan can troll and can't think of one. Perhaps Detroit? Have we beat anyone this season?
  20. The team threatened to "pants" him and hang him from a locker.
  21. Maybe he's trying to get fired
  22. I'd have to say don't know for certain. I do know he talks about his kids often, and I at least have the impression he sees them whenever he can, but families do cover up sometimes, I suppose. Which makes at least one in the family understanding pr. I don't know of anyone who spends as much time with their kids as they would want to. Bottom line for me after 30 years as a Sox fan, Thomas is the best hitter I've watched. In the mid 90's Frank was must see TV. It is too bad that our society places so much emphasis today on what happens outside the lines. Who really cared if Frank hired non union labor to build his house? How many times was stupid stuff like that publicized? I had the pleasure of a couple conversations with Baines and he is a true gentleman and a credit to the Sox organization, I wish circumstances would of had him playing his entire career as a Sox. But as a hitter I still would prefer to watch Frank to Baines.
