OMG this all made sense. What has happened to me?
  2. It becomes a nasty circle, somewhat like a toilet flushing. E-Lo is on the mound and you *know* you have a chance to win. You're pumped and ready. You play just a bit better and go home thinking I knew it! Mark gets on the mound and you're either 1. Pressing to help this guy because you really want to help him or 2. Thinking WTF is going to bite us in the ass tonight Someone makes an error and you think "damn, I knew it was going to happen" Players play better when they have confidence. Looking up to see Mark on the mound probably doesn't instill much confidence in this team. Of course that is my guess, no insider information.
  3. I'm beginning to wonder if PK is going to be in this league by the end of the season. It's becoming sad to watch him bat.
  4. It really wasn't that long ago that he made history. There must have been a huge lump in his throat when he said yes to play in mlb. I agree his number should be hanging in every stadium, at least in the A.L.

I sent her a very original plot line for the final book. Harry returns to Hogwarts as a professor and to Gryffindor as their advisor. He is dismayed to learn that Gryffindor has been regulated to the 4th best house at Hogwarts and populated with all the dorks, and non-pure bloods. I call it Welcome Back Potter
  6. Peanuts!? Who's the Cub fan and why is he here
  7. Damn, It reminds me of the WC Fields quote "I would never want to be a member of any club that would have me." I'm thinking it may be fun to troll chisox.com as an evil and twisted altereago, a Cub fan. Jekyl and Hyde thing.
  8. LMAO that would be awesome. Best suggestion I've heard in a long time.
  9. lol, I hadn't heard that one and I thought I heard them all.
  10. At least it was woman . . .

    Got Milk???

    I love being a guy.
  12. I know what I am saying. When your pitcher who was cruising along starts to get rocked in the ninth inning its time to make a change. Manuel screwed up, he should have been yanked after the Bonds HR. The Sox have been outmanaged for quite a long time. All very interesting. Do players play a little harder or softer depending who's on the mound? Of course they do, they're human like everyone else. However when you cross the white line shut up and play. We can toss stones at players all we want but right now there ain't enough stones in the world to toss at this group of underachieving twits. Somehow a series of moves that looked great individually have turned to crap. I liked the Koch deal and loved the Colon. Right now they don't look like they are working. If someone in AAA was really tearing it up I'd say Colon may be our best trade bait or Mark. I can't believe in 2003 we're thinking of dumping an arm to get a bat . . .
  13. The next couple of starts will settle the debate. I really don't see much of a difference. The game is a joke anyway.
  14. That sounds fun with teh right person running it.
  15. The Cubs were going to have a Harry Potter wand promo but Shamey broke into the supply and corked the wands . . .

    Wow

And no one really had anything to say . . . 2,000 if JR finally has the balls to remove a couple of employees.

    Thanks

If things do get worse, and I hope they don't, you might want to form a support group with Kenny Williams and Jerry Manuel.
  18. I heard it as democrates and republicans. Still the best to in Chicago debate still comes down to our lack of success isn;t as bad as your lack of success. Damn I wish we were comparing WS wins. I would even trade two or three Cub WS wins for 3 or 4 White Sox WS wins. I might even trade straight up if we won first
  19. Question... How do you have the lineups before the game goes on the air? Is there a pre-game on FSN? Do you hear it on the radio? Thanks! actually if you go to MLB.com's gamecast of our particular game they usually have it posted about half an hour or so before the game. But FSN usually has them in the pregame, as does AM1000 pregame. Aren't the official, final lineups presented to the home plate umpire just before the first pitch? Until then, changes can be made, correct? Anyway, I'm upset now, because I get the Boston feed for today's game. I have the MLB Extra Innings package, and no Hawk/DJ. I suppose it's better than nothing, though. I love the away feed when we win
  20. cwsox, Do you believe people should be judged more on their actions or what's in their heart? Would it be more wrong, in this case, to believe that homosexuals are somewhat less than than human and do nothing or believe that they are the same as everyone else but scream hate and taunt just to be like a group you are hanging with?
