Aron Ralstons story Im sure most people here have heard about this already, but I just wanted to say this is truely amazing. This guy is tough! I mean, how could you keep going thru the pain when you knew it was you causing the pain and that you could end it any time you wanted to. And the guy used a DULL pocket knife. Geez, it would be hard enough to due it in a couple of swift slices with a razor sharp knife, but this guy took a couple of days with dull one. That would be torture. Then he broke his bone so he could finish the amputation. Can you imagine breaking your own bones? On purpose? Then he stretched the last bit of skin so his arm would finally tear off. Whoa, the other day I scraped the skin off my arm and had to pick dead mangled skin out of the bloody mess, this guy had to tear skin off so his arm would be gone forever. And on top off that, he hiked back to civilization about 6 miles away (just an estimate) with a freakin stump! This guy is amazing. Im sure weve got some toughies on this board (and Ill bet youre pretty tough) but if you think you can even match this guy youre lyin thru ya teeth...

This is really sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. Its so sad that anyone could be so upset that he would kill himself. At homecoming this year, i danced with this one girl and got her number. Never talked to her again. Last I heard, she was sent to military school, from which she ran away and then killed herself (Im not totally certain she killed herself, I heard from a friend that she did, but I am certain she ran away). Then the brother of a vague friend of mine also killed himself. Suicide is just so sad...

I dont know the rules that well but my guess would be either DJ with one, or Carlos and Olivo with zero. Let me explain. Carlos, Olivo and Maggs were all tied at two but Maggs got out three times in four ABs and that puts him at -1. Olivo got out twice in 3 ABs so that puts him at 0. And Carlos went two for four with no run production so hes at zero too. DJ went one for four but he wasnt tied so Im guessing the tiebreaker doesnt apply to him, but that means he was already eliminated because he wasnt in the tie in the first place. So Im guessing its a final tie between Miggy and Carlos. Am I right?

If a player does as poorly as Buehrle has, he should be punished. Unless hes like Aaron Rowand, it should only be to the bench, but it should be a punishment none the less.
