Anton French is going to be good, cerb. And since we have no true CF, why dont we trade an overachieving starter for him and a decent secondbaseman, which is another position were weak at? It sounds good to me. Loaiza is an overachiever this year. Im glad hes doing so but hes going to come back to earth sooner or later...

I was thinking about bringing up a trade for Alomar in this threads original post but I noticed he wasnt hitting so well this year. Then again, the Mets are a crappy team so his lack of RBIs is probably just the result of no other good offensive players. I think if we brought him here to play second, he could greatly improve on those numbers.

Jiminez blotchy D wont cut it in the playoffs and Harris is too young and not enough of a hitter. If ya ask me, Harris will never be a better hitter than Castillo. Castillo hits for high average and I just dont see Willie doing that.

Id still go with Lawrence. This year hes 4-9 (on a terrible team) with a 4.84 ERA (hes somewhat like Buehrle this year). Last year he was 12-12 with a 3.69 ERA. This could be an easy steal...
