    sox-r-us...  You don't have any right to call someone ignorant, you should take a look in the mirror.  For lack of a decent vocabulary, you have to use the F word over and over again.  I don't think anyone hear quite understands the pressure of being a major league manager, and I sincerely doubt any of you could do a better job than Manuel has this year.  He turned a slumping ballclub around.  Every one makes mistakes and wrong choices.  A week ago when the Sox were on a roll everyone was praising and saying how good of a job he was doing, and now, with three losses in a row, you all choose to put him back on the dartboard.  Sure, I may not agree with everything Jerry Manuel says and does, but I can also talk about it in an intelligent fashion instead of sounding like a moron and using the f word every other second.  Rick White had no rite to say what he said, something like that needs to be kept in the clubhouse.  What he said may have destroyed the chemistry that the team had while riding their winning streak.  Rick White is more than likely the reason that the Sox are hurting right now.  Manuel will now have to prove himself by getting his team back in shape and leading them to the postseason.  You shouldn't judge a man's job until he's finished.

    I apologize for the vocabulary....just been frustrated with the loss yesterday.

    Why the f*** was Garland pulled?

     

    Why the f*** was our entire bull pen burned when we were leading by 3?

     

    Why the f*** was Frank, Konerko and Alomar benched in the last game against Mariners?

     

    Why the f*** was Marte pitching one inning yesterday in the blow out against the Ms which is why he could not pitch two innings today when we needed him?

     

    Why the f*** is Ginter here and Rick White has been sent down?

     

    Why the f*** does Jerry give up on a game (like he did against the Ms) even before it started by having scrubs starting? If you read his comments in trib today, he basically said he gave up yesterday's game to win tonight

     

    THEN WHY THE f*** WAS GARLAND PULLED WITH A 6-3 LEAD?

    He was quoted on Chicago Trib that he rested Alomar because he came to Jerry and said he does not like to play in day games the day after a night game. And of course, Gandhi obliged. What an idiot!!!!

     

    And then he goes and rests Frank, Kong and Crede too because well, why does one have to win a game at this time of the year, right?

     

    That was a rubber series game and needed to be won

     

    The Ms had their most inconsistent pitcher since AS break starting. Meche has been walking folks left and right......so what does Gandhi do? Let his best bat (Frank Thomas) who walks whenever an opportunity presents itself sit.

    His excuse postgame was fluff, and Garland was really really pissed, he basically said i can't talk to the media or i'll get in trouble.

     

    I think it was an absolutely terrible move. When Manuel came out i thought "gee, that's odd, usually managers don't make visits to the mound to talk, the pitching coach does". Well, they don't, which is what i've always known...but i couldn't believe he was pulled.

    If Jerry Manuel had even one freaking iota of class in him, he would f***ing apologize to his entire team tonight. And especially to Garland and Gordon for screwing them tonight.

     

    Rick Sutcliffe kept saying is Jerry really that stupid to leave our closer out there for 50 pitches?

     

    Of course, he had no choice after hs quick hook and then the bull pen disaster in that inning

     

    If only he knew how to use a bull pen. Rick White was absolutely correct. Dumbass jerry is an idiot.

    Garland had thrown alot of pitches the previous inning.  And I got a bad feeling when Garland gave up a hit right the offense scored 5 to put us up 3...Our Pitchers do that a lot.  When the offense gives u a lead u got go shut em down the very next inning.  Send a message to that team that your chances of winning now r slim to none...

    Please....Jerry removed him because he "did not like" that first pitch

     

    I hope Jerry liked all the pitches f***ing Schonoweis made then

     

    Jerry Manuel is an absolute idiot when it comes to handling his pitchers....

     

    It is so comforting to know now that we will not have Gordon to pitch tomorrow when we all know our O will not score 9 again and may not score more than f***ing 3 runs

    Sorry, i couldnt resist...

    I know what you mean but that guy is 7-0 .....and yes, he is not great but given these guys schedule is filled with Detroit and Cleveland, Lima is enough for them

     

    I am still very pissed at this loss.....we have lost many many games this year that we had no business losing, and we lost thanks to our dumbass manager not knowing what to do with his pitchers

     

    This is one more

     

    I do not want to go into Kansas City in the last 4 games of the year with us not having the division wrapped up.....it will be very difficult to win then and this loss will f***ing hurt

     

    Mark my words, jerry might have just cost us this season......I am shocked some of you here do not get the magnitude of this game

    Again, if he really wanted to go to the pen, why did he not go straight to marte for two innings (Garland was pulled in the 6th), since he wanted a lefty and then go to Gordon for two innings......this was maybe the most important game of the year and he f***ed it up

    This loss might trigger off a KC sweep of us this series, how the f*** is it not one of the most impt games?

     

    This team could be deflated after all the energy they expended today only to lose THANKS TO f***ED UP MANUEL

     

    You think the O will score 9 again....hopefully our two stiud pitchers shut them down tomorrow and day after

     

    Remember, KC is soon going to get Sweeney and Lima back

     

    Also remember, KC is gfoing to crush the AL Central while we get our asses handed from Yanks, As and Bo Sox

    Ordonez named player of the month

    Ordonez is AL's Player of the Month

    Sox rightfielder Magglio Ordonez was the American League Player of the Month for July after hitting .429 with 13 doubles, seven home runs and 24 RBIs.

     

    Ordonez led AL in average, hits, total bases (81), doubles, slugging percentage (.771) and extra-base hits (21), tied teammates Paul Konerko and Carlos Lee for the lead with 24 RBIs, tied for the lead with 22 runs scored, and ranked second with a .474 on-base percentage. His .429 average was the fifth-highest monthly figure in White Sox history, and his 45 hits tied Harold Baines, who did it twice, for the second-highest monthly total since 1974.

     

    It's the first time Ordeonez has won the monthly award. He has been named AL Player of the Week five times during his career, including three times in 2002.

     

    Esteban Loaiza was named AL Pitcher of the Month for April. Paul Konerko was the last Sox position player to win the monthly award, in June 2002.
