    Can’t imagine that Francona and Kapler aren’t the two early favorites for Manager of the Year. Tito pulled his closer after three walks and two outs and clinging to a two-run lead in the bottom of the ninth yesterday...worked out just fine. 75-80% of guys leave their designated closer in, regardless.

    Not allowed! Just win, baby! Winning invalidates all criticisms, legit and otherwise. It is a bit strange how quickly TLR has become “our guy” again when the team is suddenly firing on all cylinders.

You cancelled me. I’m not sure how I can go on, to be honest. “It's not clear what started the (Hummer) fire, but when emergency crews arrived the SUV was already, as the kids say, fire.     If you were watching the broadcast...they were reminiscing about him on air. Maybe Pineda’s size reminded them, can’t recall now. At any rate, with as many new posts and positivity threads and game threads as we have flying around, it is occasionally possible to land in the wrong one. But surely Rabbit has never done that.

    Jose Ramirez just went deep for #11. Trade him, ASAP, Indians!!! No way in hell they can keep their offense afloat without him in the middle of the order. And maybe we can trick them (with a late night fax) into thinking it's Franklin Reyes and not Franmil that should be on their roster...ala the KW "Barry/Berry" fiasco with LAD. First K for Kelenic, Plesac pulled the string on him...big league pitchers are going to go out of their way to TRY to put him in his place. We'll see how quickly the adjustments come. They're definitely not going to attack with mostly fastballs.

    Let's just wait and see where both Burger and Yermin are at the end of the season. Abreu and finally Vaughn's adjustment to LF/RF as well. Burger could very easily become the 1B of the future....much bigger target compared to Vaughn, and, if you can be Gold Glove NCAA quality at 3B, should easily be able to translate it to the other corner.

    Picked up Logan Gilbert for fantasy, already dinged up tonight. Got Severino and Wander Franco, too slow on the draw with Kelenic. Now two runs. Another welcome to the show, kid! Seems he's over reliant on his FB, which works in the minors as a starter at 95-98 but not in the majors. Breaking stuff has been erratic so far.

    If I knew the White Sox losing 110+ games or something from 2017-2019 would have gotten Rick Hahn fired, yeah....I can see rooting for losses, a change in leadership/philosophy and a 1-1 draft pick (that's basically what we have in TLR, for good or for bad.) Otherwise, no way in hell you cheer against your favorite team.

    Burger, 2/4 (5/24), 2B, RBI, Charlotte trying to hold onto the 3-2 lead in the 9th. .2o8/894 OPS 4 out of 5 hits for extra bases. Gavin Sheets with the "game winning" RBI in this one. Burger tied it at 2-2. Turley in to get the save. And he does it, 3-2 Final. Knights now 3-6.
