http://www.mlbdailydish.com/platform/amp/2...ors-luis-robert Didn't realize Aledmys Diaz was Cuban...surprised Moncada and Abreu aren't getting hounded by the Chicago media for a comment or insight. Or Ynoa.

https://sports.yahoo.com/news/reds-probably...-231312826.html This article says the Reds are likely out....previous one said the same about Padres in LA Times. Quiet on the Houston front.

QUOTE (New Era on South Side @ May 20, 2017 -> 11:13 AM) Can someone provide a link to his instagram account? Do the Cardinals have a history of bringing in Cuban ballplayers like the Sox do? This recent signing period, they've outspent everyone but the Padres in the Cuban market already.

(CNN)A former Trump campaign aide is requesting that President Donald Trump set up a legal fund to help associates ensnared in the federal probe into Trump campaign contacts with Russia. The ex-staff member, who told CNN he is racking up legal fees after hiring an attorney in order to respond to questions from federal investigators, also said he was never paid for his work for the campaign. He requested anonymity to speak candidly. "In many ways, the Trump associates are the real victims here," the ex-staffer said. "The world (is) going after them and Trump (is) leaving them abandoned on the battlefield," he added. "Yet many lives will be ruined in the process." The White House declined to comment on whether administration officials have issued legal guidance to White House employees. Other former campaign officials said it was difficult to estimate how many staff members have been in contact with federal investigators. "My heart aches," one former campaign official said of ex-staffers who might be caught up in the Russia investigation. http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/20/politics/tru...unds/index.html

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ May 20, 2017 -> 08:15 AM) Cardinals also signed one of his really good friends a few months ago I believe. Jose Adolis Garcia. http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?sid=m...itting/2017/ALL 695 ops at Springfield, AA Texas League But he's also tight with Ynoa, who was one of his agent's first big international deals and part of the same intl signing group that produced Miguel Sano.

https://www.fanragsports.com/mlb/red-sox/re...erious-trouble/ Price really struggled in his first rehab start. Red Sox could really use Frazier, Quintana or both, but at what cost? Devers, obviously... Could potentially buy low on Odor and Profar, but timeframe is off and Mazara/Gallo are higher in value...

Apparently, Melania didn't wear a head scarf either...Trump complained about Michelle Obama disrespecting Saudia Arabia for doing the same in 2015 In Riyadh, Saudis were preparing to welcome Trump in grand fashion. A five story image of Trump's face was projected on the exterior of the hotel he'll stay in when he arrives, and large billboards of Trump and King Salman lined the highway from the airport. (Found the video screen cap https://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=AwrTcX...&stype=web) Trump remains popular in the Gulf, where leaders hope he'll take a harder line on Iran than his predecessor Barack Obama. During meetings this weekend, Trump will work to develop relationships with the leaders, with whom the US hopes to partner on fighting extremism. He's also expected to announce a series of new agreements with the kingdom, including a $100 million arms deal that was brokered primarily by Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. The agreement will provide tanks, ships, and missile defense systems to the kingdom in an attempt to bolster its regional military prowess. Www.cnn.com [/b]Saudi diplomats reportedly wooed the President into visiting their country via a persuasive, picture-laden PowerPoint presentation. Caterers for state events have been instructed to prepare Mr Trump’s favourite meal – steak and ketchup – to serve alongside local delicacies. Delegates to the Nato summit have been cautioned by their Washington consultants to “keep it short” and use plenty of visual aids in talks with the President. Also important is stroking the President’s ego; complimenting him on his electoral college win and contrasting him favourably with former President Obama.[/b] http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/am...s-a7745886.html

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 19, 2017 -> 10:41 PM) He said that after reading Quintana's final line. I actually thought you meant Robert's agent was calling the Sox...finally broke the streak of three consecutive walk off wins by the M's over the Sox. -

Cabrera with the big hit...please don't send Robertson out again, that's all. 11 pitches for Robertson so far. -

Leury Garcia has the bad wrist, will probably be back in lead off spot upon return. Quintana with 99 pitches...who throws the bottom of the 9th? -
Will have to bust out the "Singles" movie soundtrack. The James Bond theme song was a good one, too.

Greg, you should apply for a job with Fox News.

Nationals' pen is still a mess. Smith still sucks. Man, for such a big guy you'd think he would run into one eventually. Sale now has two career streaks of eight games with a minimum of ten strikeouts...last one two years ago. Pedro Martinez did it once. HoF hat as Red Sox or White Sox, lol? -

QUOTE (ecupittfan @ May 19, 2017 -> 09:25 PM) Of course we cant score. Quintana is pitching well 60 no decisions since 2012, huge leader in MLB for that category. -

Davidson at least preventing his average from sinking down to Mendoza Line. SANCHEZ with a 9 game hitting streak. 8 strikeouts, though. Smith, do something besides a k or dp ball.
