Quintana again...just can't field his position effectively, like a Buehrle. 36 pitches through 2. Survived, but barely. What's more amazing is that we could be 4-11 against DET and 5-10 against the lowly Royals and still be leading the division by one game in the middle of September. When's the last time the White Sox have lost EIGHT games in a row to the same opponent? Minnesota? A's? Angels? Mariners?

Sigh. Hope Garcia doesn't become the "faster" Magglio Ordonez.

Lucky that one didn't go out and picked up the out at 2nd...nice assist Dayan, perfect way to play it off the fence and get it back in. Psychology-wise, they know that Quintana's really struggling recently and we haven't been able to do a thing against Porcello this season. Not a good combination.

Quintana's control seems to be going south with the extended season and innings count, rather than the actual speed of his pitches.

Delmon Young curse continues. At least Fielder didn't get a hold of one of those fastballs out over the plate, there's that.

Not a good trend to start this game... Konerko had a good pitch to hit in that sequence and fouled it off.

We need a hit here from Konerko in the worst way to end this RISP noose around our necks.

Don't forget Myers conspiring to try to blow as many games as possible so he would finish those and end up with his $10 million contract for next season. The leave policy is clearly for 3 days. The only reason it's an issue with YOUK is because we lost that game in horrible fashion, but they SHOULD be taking issue with Olmedo/Ramirez/Ventura more than Youkilis.
