QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 03:06 PM) Thank you Lord of Texas I'll even thank either Bush, GW or GHW...for that wild pitch. I'll take it. -

Well, that's too funny, our best way to score is waiting for the other team to make a mistake...not actually hitting the ball on ground to 2B and SS, the normal specialties for Juanie when nobody is in scoring position. 1/20 now....where the heck can you hide Pierre in the line-up? And now Quentin's ouchy. Double ouch. -

Guerrero now 2 for 17 against FLOYD. Beckham with horrible footwork and alignment around the bag, should have been a DP there. -

Hamilton now 4/5 against FLOYD. Who is still almost succeeding in lowering his ERA to under 7 in this inning. Unless Hamilton scores. -

I truly believe, in my heart of hearts, that even Kotsay and Vizquel could have tagged that pitch. -

Lovely to watch a pitch just tantalizingly float by when that might be the best chance we ever have to get back into this game. Sheesh. -

C'mon Teahen, you owe us 2 runs in the +/- category thanks to your Snopek/Norton-esque D. -

Feldman at 6.03 ERA career in APR. Consistently at 86-89 MPH...the same speed some posters here supposedly throw. DJ's line: "maybe it has something to do with (your confidence in) the team you're pitching against...?" -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:30 PM) Probably because he would like to start? He will be a starter when we trade Konerko. -

Well, at least if Juan's going to bunt or ground out weakly, there wasn't a runner in scoring position to further aggravate us. Only Juan can be aggravated with himself....I've given up caring about him and Kotsay. -

Why couldn't we have Adam LaRoche instead of Mark Kotsay? I guess he wasn't in the budget either. Great job, Juanie...way to make it easy for the pitcher. -

I also was able to watch Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants Rowland, about a soxtalk poster here who occasionally starts new threads. -

The first one was actually okay...lol, that blonde girl is hot at least. That's what happens when you're in China and can't watch tv besides NBA games, you have to watch some really questionable movies. I was even considering watching The Bounty Hunter and Green Zone the other day. PS: Or any movie with Nicole Eggert, that's not bad watching compared to our offense... -

Kotsay at a crisp, "hard" .111 with a .352 OPS. Pretty sad when our OPS numbers are behind the AL batting average leaders. -

Well, the Tigers "manned up" against the Twins at least. About to take 2/3 at Comerica. Now the bad news, we aren't close to being as good as DET right now either. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:11 PM) You just said the same things in opposite order. You wanted to pitch to him because he wasn't doing well, but then you wanted to sign him because he was. WHY WOULD ANYONE BE AFRAID OF GUERRERO when our own GM didn't want to sign him, nor did most SoxTalk posters. Everyone said he was done, washed up, injury-prone, lost bat speed....now he's the most dangerous hitter in baseball again? -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:06 PM) Sure you can question it, but you probably should develop some skin when you get questioned. Man up buddy. It just gets old when the same 4-5 people seem to enjoy making little "insider-ish" jokes...like they would rather try to poke fun at me than to actually talk about the White Sox. Seriously. I have a post and couldn't get the "underline" feature to "undo" and it deserves to be criticized. That's just a BIT ridiculous. I don't think anyone around here has ever been questioned about using underline, italics, bold...sometimes I just wonder if it really makes those posters feel better about themselves, maybe it does...well, whatever works. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 02:04 PM) http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/bvsp?playerId=5922 Vladdy 4 for 18 career versus GAVIN, .222 Hamilton 1 for 2 with a double, now 3/4 with two doubles against FLOYD. You think someone MIGHT actually notice that in the dugout. I forgot, Ozzie doesn't use computers, only TWITTER. So you would pitch around someone over a 1-2? Wow. It wasn't even 1 for 2, it was at that point 2/3. Guerrero, last time I checked, is right-handed. Gavin Floyd, last time I checked, is a RHP. But what do I know, obviously that strategy worked well to go after Hamilton. After all, KW considered Guerrero too washed up to think about signing for DH, his knees too balky....now he's superhuman? -

Seriously, there are some people who need to grow up around here. I can't question Ozzie for NOT telling Gavin to be careful when Guerrero's 4/18 against him career-wise and Hamilton is now 3/4 with 2 doubles? I guess we really don't need a manager, hitting coach or a message board. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 01:55 PM) You mean Vlad who is hitting something like .500 at home? You mean Vlad who just made an out? Seriously, what are the splits for Hamilton and Vladdy against GAVIN? -

No KW, we couldn't use a .364 HOF hitting DH because he's RH. Stupid! -

Nice "NON-MANAGING" job again Ozzie....!!!! Walk Hamilton to face Guerrero...stupidity and stupid-ness. Nice job throwing the ball around out there too....Hamilton could have scored or at least gotten to 3rd if he was paying attention. -

Thanks Buddy Bell. Teahen indeed cannot play defense at any position on the diamond. At least it wasn't close and he missed Konerko by about six feet...Konerko avoided getting his shoulder separated. Then we'd really be seeing Kotsay a LOT more. LOL.
