The Blackhawks really need new managment and then I'll be excited about their chance to actually compete. I mean, even if these guys that we drafted turn into damn good players, they'll either sign somewhere else when they are free agents or be traded. That's what seems to happen to any of our good players and it would probably happen to them. But, I really don't follow the Blackhawks, or hockey in general, to probably know what I'm talking about, so everything I said could be totally wrong. I don't know.

Luis Ramirez

Ventura came in tonights game in the 9th for L.A. b/c they were losing 13-0, and pitched a scorless inning of relief. He only allowed 1 hit and 7 of his 12 pitches were for strikes. This was Robin's first ever appearance as a pitcher. Maybe we can trade for Ventura and use him mainly in our bullpen w/ him pinch-hitting once in a while.

My bad about posting it again. If someone that can delete this post wants to, go rigth ahead. I feel pretty stupid for not seeing the original post considering it's only like 10 posts below this one.

This happened a couple days ago, but I just decided to post it since I haven't seen it before. A 22 year old minor leaguer in the Orioles system, playing for one of their their short season teams, pitched 5 innings striking out 15 hitters. He allowed 1 hit, but all the outs he recorded were strikeouts. I don't care what level your at or how old you are, striking out 15 in only 5 innings is just sick. Anyway, just wanted to share this w/ y'all.

If they were gonna call someone up, I think it should have been Baj, Bullard, or someone else worthy of a promotion, but not Winkelsas.

Zaleski was great in relief again for Great Falls. He pitched 3 scoreless inning and got the win. On the year, he has yet to give up a run 6.2 innings (3 games). Russell got roughed up for 3 ER in 1 inning.

Congrats to Fields having his first HR! It's nice to see him finally have a good game.
