I would argue get him in the lineup so the games you usually win is more certain. not to try and win games that already aren't in your favor. plus a win tonight would lock in a 3rd consecutive series win Sox are 7-11 in day games, and I think Mune has been in the lineup in all of those games

that's such a Reinsdorf type of contract. not in terms of money but the short duration/low risk design if I'm his agent (playing devils advocate), I would maybe accept that kind of deal once, but after that I'm looking for like 8+, no way do I let the Sox keep offering 2 year extensions, unless it's for a ridiculous amount of money

you're not gonna get everyday lineups until after the trade deadline. Getz is doing his yearly M.O. of acquiring scraps and then giving them more playtime than they deserve in hopes someone wants to give up prospects for them

I hope it's the day game, would be dumb to have him play a night into day game if you're already planning on giving him rest. I guess they could rest him in game 2. maybe they'll plan it based on if the Sox can win another series
