Ohtani's interpreter fired for stealing money
joejoesox replied to Balta1701's topic in The Diamond Club
There's no god damned way in hell Ohtani and his accountants didn't know this was going on, anyone who believes that is the most naive person to ever live. this just proves that Ohtani is untouchable, he could do something 10 times worse than Bauer and nobody would blink an eye -
Soroka is 0-8 LMFAO

Lenyn Sosa is dog s%*#, can't wait til they dump his ass

looking at crochets stats over the last 2.5 months , gonna suck when he's playing for someone else , very talented pitcher.

Brebbia is so bad holy s%*#, I would've dumped his ass a while ago -
there's a chance he could get hurt again before the TDL, but apparently they're willing to roll the dice that he stays healthy enough to stay on the field until then. if you watch him play he's clearly not fully healthy, guys are taking extra bases on him routinely because of his lack of speed plus his arm sucks
-
I was thinking about Robert/Crochet this morning and I really do think both are getting traded Robert definitely, just my seeing how he's clearly playing hurt based on how he's looked, his mobility has decreased for sure, I think they're trying to showcase him, otherwise they would've been more conservative with his playtime crochet I always felt was as good as gone, but Robert I was 50/50 on

Since the Sox hit 12-28 on May 11th, theyve gone an incredible 9-32 since then. That's a winning percentage of about .220. The 2003 Tigers at the halfway point (81 games) were 20-61. One game behind the Sox.

Jerry likes the smell of money way too much to let someone else tell him how to spend it
-
problem is the Sox cannot develop premium hitters to save their life, even CM has looked less than stellar in AAA, don't look at his slash line.

my thoughts on who the sox absolutely will trade fedde is gone, dejong is gone, pham is gone. all 3 are 99.9% off this team in about a month who the sox absolutely aren't trading Crochet, Robert, Vaughn (only mentioning Vaughn bc he was mentioned in the OP). they're gonna be here til the offseason, i'm very very very sure of that. i can't say i'm 100% sure because our GM could easily get his ass handed to him in any deal, and it wouldn't shock anyone except maybe Jerry as far as anyone else, *possible* trades, i have no idea. Kopech wouldn't surprise me, Flexen wouldn't surprise me, Siroka same. But if the Sox are just gonna start the timer on our prospects, then all of them could be dealt rather quickly. Edit: Robert and Crochet are getting dealt too

it's gonna be someone internal, obviously

They're likely to change the name of the stadium w/ the recent news that they're changing the company name to just "Rate" https://www.chicagotribune.com/2024/06/22/guaranteed-rate-name-change/
