  1. QUOTE(jenksd @ Aug 9, 2006 -> 01:49 AM) I didn't show up to one of my classes to watch the world series parade and subsequently failed the class, lost my scholarship and dropped out. So missing one class caused all that? The Grand Slam was awesome.. I was at home watching the game with my mom and she said "Hes going deep right here" and the next pitch it happened and we went nuts. It was badass.
  2. QUOTE($I Need Money$ @ Aug 9, 2006 -> 01:42 AM) why because you dont think the white sox will win this year? the text is stayin. nice sig btw lolz, this should be interesting
  3. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 9, 2006 -> 12:16 AM) 90+ catches from Cris Carter is lackluster? Robert Smith was a great pass-catching RB. Byron Chamberlain had 50-some catches in 2001. His weapons in Minnesota are way better than anything he has in Miami now. Randy Moss was an absolute beast while in Minnesota. People fail to realize how many bombs Culpepper threw to Moss for TD's. Wow, Minnesota did not have better weapons than Miami does now.. Chris Chambers has put up good numbers without EVER playing with a real QB, and now he finally has that. He could have easily been putting up Randy Moss numbers with a QB and now well all get to see that. I guess youll see how many bombs Culpepper throws to Chambers for TDs now. Ronnie Brown is also a great pass catching RB, not only that but he can run AND block. Hes just as good as Robert Smith was. Byron Chamberlain? Um ok, Ill easily take Randy McMichael over him. Even Teyo Johnson should have a solid season as a recieving tight end this season. Marty Booker, Derek Hagan, Wes Welker (Slot), Kelly Campbell (Slot, also played with Culpepper in Minny) thats 4 more WR's who should be solid and better if anything equal to what Minnesota ever had with Pep Not to mention the fact that Miami actually has a defense, which in turn will help the offense. Im sorry, but the team he is on now has more talent than what he had in Minnesota.
  4. hey LCR whats that site that you go to with those avatars?
  5. QUOTE(Felix @ Aug 7, 2006 -> 08:51 PM) lol, ok. yeah, it is ok
  6. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 09:22 PM) Cris Carter, Randy Moss, Robert Smith in 2000. Pro Bowler in his 1st year as starter, nearly 4000 yards. Cris Carter, Randy Moss, Byron Chamberlain, Jake Reed, Michael Bennet in 2001. Like I said, he has better weapons now in Miami than he did in Minnesota
  7. QUOTE(Brian @ Aug 5, 2006 -> 12:39 PM) Seems like Randy Orton is doing a hell of a job by making you guys hate him. If you hate him because he uses a head lock every once in awhile, that's shame. Just because he doesn't do high spot after high spot, doesn't make him a bad wrestler. They guy has ring psychology mastered and knows how to sell moves. Say what you want about his mic work, but I think he does a good job. He has that heel tone down pat. And don't reference the horrible Orton Knows Best segment this past Monday. I doubt he had much input into it. Maybe more people would like him if he fell onto some lightbulbs and jumped off a roof through a table. The fact is he doesn't need to do that stuff to get over. Where is TRU to have my back? Im totally with you man.. I love Randy Orton, I think hes a great heel and plays the part well.. Also, I doubt that Orton chose to "rip off the Diamond Cutter" im sure that when Orton was pushed it was the move he was given as his "finisher" the wrestlers dont just think up moves to use as them. Gimmicks/Moves and such are usually decided for them by the powers above.
  8. Culpepper is gonna have a big year IMO.. Chambers, Booker, McMichael, Brown.. way more weapons than he ever had in Minnesota
  9. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Aug 2, 2006 -> 05:50 PM) Paul Thompson was moved to WR atleast for the time being. Supposedly JC recruit Joey Halzle will be OU's new QB. He's 6'4 220 pounds and runs a 4.58. Teams are going to stack 8-9 in the box again this year against OU, so we will see if he can throw at all. I know this, if Texas Tech or Iowa State don't win the Big 12 this year, we can forget about it in the future :-). Atleast I know thats true in the South division for Tech. OU, imo, is screwed now.. Hopefully Kansas State can surprise and nab the north
  10. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Aug 2, 2006 -> 01:53 PM) Wow, great play by Tyner to rob the homer. That will probably be the number one webgem tonight. Wow is right, man that was awesome.. he got way up there
  11. Im watching the game here because its on the Rangers station.. the Twins look real bad today, making mistakes in the field Kip Wells is looking pretty good
  12. Sign Gary Mathews JR. to play LF, Sign Daryle Ward to replace Gload, Sign another reliever.. if possible trade both Garcia and Vazquez replace them with BMac and like DBAHO said sign Mulder to an incentive deal.. Those moves would be fine with me.. but man, I wish we could get Oswalt.. Hes better than every pitcher we have and would be an awesome addition.. Itd give us a SP who can throw in the upper 90's with some pretty nasty breaking stuff..
  13. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 12:13 AM) Its one thing if your wearing it in public or with friends, another when its on the scoreboard. its called style baby
  14. Theres nothing wrong with wearing your hat like that
  15. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 11:54 PM) Have your PC, download a N64 emulator, WWE No Mercy and then get the hacks for TNA wrestlers, current roster for WWE, the 6 sided iMPACT! ring et al. As for PS2 sports games, go for SmackDown vs Raw 2007. Almost all wrestling games have a ton of replay value. Hell, I'm still playing the old WCW vs nWo for N64. Where do you get those hacks from? and how exactly do you apply them to the game?
  16. QUOTE(Soxpranos @ Jul 29, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) We need Allen to sign now and get his butt to training camp. They have the financial terms agreed upon the only hold up is the Fins wanna sign him for 6 years and he wants to sign for 5 years.. Something will get done soon
  17. :drool Culpepper looks great, I cant wait for this season to start
  18. I think he has the right to be mad.. The Rays are going NOWHERE and yet they have these good prospects in the system that arent seeing the field when the team is horrible.. makes no sense
  19. What a terrible trade for Milwaukee.. They couldnt even get a good prospect out of this? What the hell are they thinking
  20. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 07:31 PM) I wish the match was included in that clip. Cena deserved to be totally squashed and potatoed for that awful "rap". Thats just awful. He should have left it with no beat in the background, it may have passed for humor. Maybe not. *shudder* That was real bad. are you jokin? Cena was actually cool back then I hate him now
  21. QUOTE(Soxpranos @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 04:57 PM) Still a few pieces away... mainly on the Offensive line and Defense. Cant wait till November 5th when the Phins come to town. Our offense line, IMO, is not a weakness for this team.. Look at what we did last year man with basically the same crap we had the year before.. Hudson Houck is arguably the best OLine coach in the league and he turned our offensive line into a solid unit last year. Now this year we return basically everyone with some depth addition and Shelton, we also moved Hadnot to center where I personally think he is going to excell.. As far as defense goes, we had horrible DB depth last year.. look at what Saban brought in this year, a ton of depth for the defensive backfield.. We also get Will Poole and Shirdonya Mitchell back from injuries while adding (most likely) 3 new starters in Will Allen, Jason Allen, and Reynaldo Hill. Sabans specialty is also the defensive backfield, so I am not as concerned as I was last year when we were throwing all the waiver claims out there for depth. Dont forget we have Capers in here to run the defense now and hes a pretty good defensive coach. Also dont sleep on this move.. Fred Beasley will be our best offseason move not named Culpepper. This guy is going to be clearing pathways for Ronnie and REALLY improving the run game. I cant wait till the season starts!!
  22. Yeah, most of us expected him to be ready for training camp and the seasons where as most people who arent Dolphin fans that there was no way hed be playing till mid season
