Oz im not seeing your point here.. You cant sit here and predict when hes gonna blow a save, but what you can see is that he hasnt blown one in a while now and has been getting the job done.. so why take him out when theres no problem?? Yes he has been erratic, but he gets the save none the less I cant answer your question about how many, but I have nothing to worry about until he actually blows another save... for all you know he may go 30 for 30 the rest of the year.. who knows... well have to see but what I do know is he is saving games, thats all we ask of him

I watched the last 2 games he saved on ESPN... He got the save, im satisfied with that.. yeah it was rocky, but he pulled it out... he did what was asked.. I watch baseball, I watch the Sox as much as possible.. Ive seen Koch pitch so you all dont have to think i dont know whats goin on and talking out my ass.. Hes better than last yr, and hes getting saves this year..

Hes not getting the job done?? Are you sure about that, because I didnt know walks, ERA, and a slow fastball (which is 93-95, not that slow anyways) was what counted as converting a save

Im arguing the fact that just about everyone on this board thinks Koch needs to be removed as the closer when he is pitching better than last year and gettin the job done and i think your the one who needs glasses because Koch was gettin the shaft on some calls his last 2 outings

Well until Koch starts blowing saves and we fall out of first place because of him Im not gonna sit here and bash him when hes getting the job done.. At least he isnt getting pounded like he was last year and as much as you all hate him you cant deny hes getting the job done, and if you do then thats just sad

You can all hate Koch and say he sucks and we need to get rid of him but we ARE the First Place Chicago White Sox and we HAVE a closer who IS getting the job done... Until things change from that I dont see any reason for complaints

Again I repeat Luck or not, a SAVE is a SAVE He got the save, both games we won... doesnt matter how he does it he did what he was asked to DO

I thought the purpose of a closer was to close out games and get the save appears to be what Billy is doing isnt it
