6-21-2004 Sox vs Cleveland
Sabathia is a headcase, see 2nd inning. No thanks on this guy. He'll end up going Bartolo Colon style on us. If Sabathia pitches 8 innnings at least, then no way we win this game.

Well, we're losing this one. Probably won't win either. We had our shot when CC made a jackass of himself in the 2nd innning, it's a shame that ball was hit right to the right fielder.

That silver rim is really really nice looking.

I believe a Wireless Access Point is something you buy and then put it on the middle level of your house, then it shoots the internet freshly upstairs with no lost signals. You do not need this unless the router won't make it to the computer on your second story, which it most certainly will.

It's not like they're bad things you can't put up on a wall or something. MinnesotaSoxFan, in all honesty, these hats aren't something you'd want to pay 5 + Shipping for unless you were planning on putting them on a wall.

Roster move
This makes sense. With Wunsch on the DL, and a bunch of our relievers stinking up the place, why not give someone who's pitching well in AAA a shot?

Lumsden is going to Winston Salem
Holy crap. I did see him jack up his count in the game thread with 3 posts in a row with less than 3 words. I was like Then I was like

13 minutes. Macs are good for video and image editing, there's a reason PC's are more widely used.

EBay Scam Backfired
Was it that hard to read through? I didn't think it was... not meaning to be rude here, just asking a question.

Rauch gets 5th starter nod (again)
Best of luck to Jon, I really hope he can perform up in the bigs and become an ace, preferably here. We need his miniscule ERA to transform into a miniscule ML ERA.

EBay Scam Backfired
Yeah they are. I love how the keyboard is all goofy. And for some reason I laughed for awhile when he crossed out the Windows sign on the windows button and drew in what's on the Mac computers. MetalliSox, not really.

That's spiffy and all, but I still like to have the option of returning it with just a receipt and the item, incase I didn't like what I purchased and/or it didn't work.

They're definately wearable. I don't mind wearing mine. What kind did you get Mo?

You should also not buy it over the internet, so as to not have to pay shipping fees and such. Go visit any stores in your area that sell this kind of stuff (Any Best Buys, Circuit Citys, CompUSA's, Staples) and compare the prices. Find out the best one, and make your purchase there.

Heh, I have Wireless-B and the speeds are fine.

For the computer recieving the connection; you can get either a reciever that plugs into USB or connects to the back of your computer. I use the USB kind. I got the USB because I didn't feel like taking my moms computers cover off and installing the hardware for the other kind. I believe USB is 10 MBPS, which is plenty enough since most ISPs don't let you download over 1 MBPS if you're lucky, or if you altered their settings, which is illegal. The connection should not be messed up any way, since my hard connection is coming from a basement and the router is sending it two stories up to the top floor. Any virii that you have on your Gateway will be in no way, shape, or form installed onto your newer computer unless you do it manually, which I don't think you want to do. Let's compare prices. I have this router, which is not top of the line, but still very well. If you're that concerned about speeds, spend an extra 20 bucks and get the Wireless-G. Wireless-B works just fine for someone who doesn't download and uses the internet sparingly (my mom), and before she used it, I used it and download TONS of things at perfectly normal speeds. And I have this USB Adapter Both are $70 each. Total being $140. This is my setup, it works greatly. I don't suggest you get any other router than a linksys. Linksys is the best. If you decided to go the non wireless route, then you get this router. $80 And an estimate of 100 Feet of CAT5 cable. You'd have to do your own measuring on it though. $82 for 100 Feet of it but I'm sure you can find some other cheap-o cable. $162 or less.

I have one... it's a bit screwy when it comes to splitting connnections with the CAT5 cables, but thats just part of my own laziness, the wireless part is golden. Make sure you get linksys and no cheap POS router.

Walgreens
Very cheap. That's what you get for them not being adjustable! Cheap fabric to boot, too. Better than paying $30+ for a nice one though. Don't got the funds to do that!

Walgreens
Only Walgreens I know that have them is the one in downtown Batavia. Couldn't tell you about others...

White Sox in a downward sprial...
Not with Ozzie. Ozzie's gonna re-light a fire under these guys and they'll go out and perform well against Cleveland. Probably won't win every game, but they're not gonna be in a lay-down-and-take-it mode like they would be last year after they lost to mediocre teams.

Ho Dad!!
Happy Fathers Day fathers! On a side note, I went to drop off some gifts at my dads house, and he wasn't home. , oh well, hope he's having fun whatever he's doing.

I hope your Walgreens has them! I wouldn't be surprised if it was only a few that had them...

Walgreens
I was at Walgreens today and noticed they had vintage Sox and Cubs caps. They're $5 each, which I think is a great price, especially since they're not adjustable. I got myself a 1918 road cap where it says S O X vertically on top of each other, and it's navy blue with white pinstripes. Here's a picture. Best part about this thing, there was only one kind of Cub hat, the rest were Sox. And I don't think it was because they sold out either. The shelf was loaded.

White Sox in a downward sprial...
We're only 1.5 games back, with more than half the season left, that ground can EASILY be made up. Just wait till the Twins start playing major league teams.
