June 20, 200421 yr If we get swept by the Indians and the Tigers manage to win and the Twins manage to win the Red Sox series we could easily see ourself in 4th place looking up at the rest of the division. I don't know about the rest of you but i'm scared to death that this might be where we look back and see that the season was over... This is like last year when we got swept by the tigers... absolutely no excuse for it. I guess all I can do is just hope for the best but I don't want to be a 4th place team.....

June 20, 200421 yr relax, it's not the end of the world. Yes, this road trip sucked, but it wasn't absolutely-god awful-terrible. 0-6 or 1-5 can be called terrible, not 2-4. Just keep the faith for this homestand.
June 20, 200421 yr I will not panic unless we do awful on this big homestand against the Tribe and then the Cubs. I think we should go 5-2 or 4-3, if we do worse then I will begin to wonder. Coming home always seems to cure the Sox woes.

Holy s***! there is not a single f***ing team in history who hasn't had a poor stretch. Even the 98 Yankees lost 4 in a row.

Then Jose hit a solo to make it 2-2...then the game was done in the 9th...which I believed I covered already...

June 21, 200421 yr The Indians worry me. They could be on top of this division if it wasn't for their s***ty bullpen. Their starters in Sabathia, Lee and Westbrook have pitched great all year with low ERA's, and they are one of the better hitting teams in the league with Victor Martinez in the cleanup spot.
June 21, 200421 yr Not with Ozzie. Ozzie's gonna re-light a fire under these guys and they'll go out and perform well against Cleveland. Probably won't win every game, but they're not gonna be in a lay-down-and-take-it mode like they would be last year after they lost to mediocre teams.
