Great article. I still believe in Borch. He may be slower than the normal major leaguer, and it's apparent he's no Albert Pujols (In terms of coming into his own so quickly), but he's still got some great potential.

Garcia is a different pitcher from the last two years, so his ERA totals are balooned a little bit. Garcia changed his approached because of his shortcomings the past few years, he came in confident, calm, and it worked out greatly for him. I don't care about his past stats. Garcia is a different pitcher this year.

Uribe is good. He has the potential. Jose is our Shortstop though. A bit greedy, yes, but when he connects, it goes far! I wish he'd shorten up on his swing a bit, instead of swinging for pure power. Whenever he gets a hit, the ball is usually smoked. Never a soft liner. That said, if this trade happens, we're dead. We need Jose. It might even be smart to re-sign him after the year.

I'd expect something in Mid to late July. Most big deals don't happen as soon as they did, and ours happened because Bavasi was pushed into a wall, knowing this was the absolute best he could get for Garcia. Rumors will come up, some true, some not. I know though, that Williams is not done. Whatever he does, it won't be right away, however.
