  1. How were those ladies?
  2. MOst of your arguments that file sharing is file stealing are correct, except for one thing- I listen to a lot of underground punk from the 70s and 80s, reallly tough stuff to find, and that's basically all I download. I don't listen to ANY mainstream garbage, just stuff the RIAA can't touch, if they felt the need to persecute me, I would win.
  3. I used Kazaa Lite to the fullest extent and downloaded everything I wanted to download. As to right now- there is nothing I am downloading because I am in a huge hole in just listening to two particular bands; Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, nothing else.
  4. I had a feeling it'd be San Andreas and no Sin City. It made perfect sense to be San Andreas. I find it odd that Amazon UK is already taking pre-orders on this, for release on November 5th, even though release date has been set. Also, naming them GTA instead of Grand Theft Auto isn't too great of an idea, imo.
  5. Damon would be great, but Cotts is too much of a price. I say we get Nixon and stick Rowand out in CF, his last year to show what he's made of. Last year he was coming off of injury, the year before he was too young. This year I believe he will become a quality player. Even if we do get Damon instead, Rowand can play RF too, I believe.
  6. I would love Damon or Nixon. They can keep Kim. In a perfect world, I'd try to get Damon for Borchard, instead of Cotts, but that's a no go- unless we perhaps throw in Borchard and a mid level minor league pitcher. I don't want to see Cotts go, therefore I lean to the Nixon for Borchard part of the trade. Borchard, imo, is expendable. We have Reed gaining high popularity and thus far Borchard is a wash.
  7. ROFLMFAO JOGGER! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  8. This is all I have right now, a little clip from Yahoo... "The Oilers gambled after a cross-checking penalty on Halpern 2:30 into the third period, asking for a measurement on one of Jaromir Jagr's sticks. The stick was deemed illegal, but Edmonton failed to score on a two-minute, two-manadvantage." Nothing to say but lmao.
  9. If you guys want to chat now- come on in.
  10. maggsmaggs, HOW IN THE BLOODY f***ING HELL CAN YOU SAY WIRTZ IS BETTER THAN JR!? Wirtz sells off our favorite players- Roenick, Amonte, etc. AT least JR doesn't sell the Big Hurt, or even Maggs for that matter. To say that Reinsdorf is worse than Bill Wirtz is complete and utter f***ing blasphemy. Reinsdorf fields a competitive team every year- whether you like to believe it or not. The team has just failed miserably. Would you rather JR not be competitive and field a team like the Brewers? I cannot fathom how some people think Wirtz is better than JR. WIrtz destroyed one of the best franchises in NHL history, he completely annihilated it. Spending over 100 million dollars a year does not automatically mean you're a competitor. Look at the f***ing Mets. They spend so much yet they suck every year. The supposed 58 million dollar payroll is untrue, there was no offficial press releease stating that the payroll would be 58 million dollars. I suppose you'd like to see Wirtz take over the Sox and sell off Frank, Lee, Buerhle, Loaiza, and other greats on our team for overrated players and minor leaguers. Yup, I'd love a team full of Bartolo Colons and ALbert Belles.
  11. It really depends on the poster, not the reliability of the board. Otis himself has a reputation of being correct, let's hope he is again. I'm not going to not believe Otis just because he tells it to the WSI guys and not ours.
  12. Florida Doesn't Want Vlad http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/news/mlb...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb Even though most of you already know Anaheim seems his destination
  13. Oh, my bad then. I took at as though you were dissing Fox. Apologies.
  14. I don't see what you have against Fox News- they tell it how it is, no BS, unlike almost every other news station.

  16. I was thinking the same thing. This is hilarious!
  17. Great show, whenever I'm home at 5, I watch it.
  18. There is no improvement. I never said there was. Anything I said basically meant "Don't you all hand the division title to KC just yet."
  19. Also like last year, how we swept them in KC and hit like 30 homers in that series.. Those numbers were barely normal. We can really tear into that KC staff. Not changing could mean the division title, imo. But we're a near same boat at the moment, so I'm not running out guaranteeing the Sox win the division. Also, thanks for the kind words, NUKE_CLEVELAND and cwsox.
  20. Heatly's back in one month? Hmm I'm gonna sign him just to keep him on IR... thanks for the news.
  21. I've noticed a few people quick to give KC the division title right away, even myself, at times. But I realized- they have made NO major pitching moves, except signing Sullivan. It's the same damn pitching staff that we can really tear into.
  22. TO THE PERSON WHO OWNS ZIGMUND PALFFY, ZIGGY IS OUT FOR THE YEAR, GETTING SURGERY This sucks. Ziggy Palffy will miss remainder of season January 9, 2004 LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Ziggy Palffy, the Los Angeles Kings' leading scorer, is scheduled to undergo surgery on his right shoulder Monday and will be sidelined for the rest of the season. Palffy separated his shoulder during overtime of the Kings' 4-4 tie at Anaheim on Wednesday night. He has 16 goals and 25 assists in 35 games this season. He missed five other games with facial injuries after getting hit by a puck while sitting on the bench. The surgery will be performed by team physician Dr. Ronald Kvitne, the Kings said Friday. The 31-year-old Palffy has played for the Kings for five years and ranks 13th on their career scoring list with 340 points on 150 goals and 190 assists in 311 games. A three-time All-Star, he has 318 goals and 671 points in 642 NHL games since breaking in with the New York Islanders in 1993-94. The Kings (16-14-7-4) bring a 10-game winless streak into Saturday night's game against Columbus at Staples Center.
